The Pioneer Woman’s weight loss journey

Drummond shared her journey with fans on a TikTok posted on May 17.

“Hi I’m Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, she said. “You may know me from my cooking show, but I also have cookbooks, a cooking website — I can’t get away from food and I love to eat. Of course it crept up on me through the years, especially during COVID.”

After 2020, Drummond knew she wanted to get healthy in 2021.

“So starting in January, I decided to get busy and lose some weight. No gimmicks at all,” she said. “I just cut calories, exercised more, lifted a lot of weights.”

For Drummond, it wasn’t all about her looks, but more so about how getting the weight off made her feel.

“I look better but I feel so much better and that’s what really counts,” she continued. “I’m still a goofball, I just have a lot more energy! Be afraid.”
