The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond has seen massive success since she launched her blog back in 2006. It’s led her to a Food Network show, plenty of cookbooks, and even a cookware line — not to mention her bed and breakfast, restaurant, and magazine.

Despite living a hectic life full of work and entertaining, Drummond says she constantly worries about one part of her life more than anything else — and it’s not her career.

‘The Pioneer Woman’ star Ree Drummond has built an empire from her blog

When Ree Drummond married her husband, Ladd Drummond, she wasn’t expecting life to lead her where it did. Drummond once had big plans to become a lawyer, but meeting Ladd changed everything. Soon enough, she was settled into an Oklahoma ranch and starting a blog about life on the farm.

Drummond’s blog, The Pioneer Woman, quickly caught on. Within five years of its launch, Food Network had approached her about hosting a cooking show. The Pioneer Woman premiered back in 2011, and since then, Drummond’s recipes have built her an empire. Drummond later launched her cookware line, and has since become even more involved in the hospitality business by opening a restaurant and a bed and breakfast.

Drummond also launched her home goods store, The Mercantile, back in 2016. In 2017, Drummond launched The Pioneer Woman Magazine. And in between filming her show and running her business, she’s published plenty of cookbooks and children’s books.

Ree Drummond revealed the 1 thing she worries about ‘more than anything’

Drummond’s career has taken many different directions. It seems she can’t stop growing, and just when her fans think she’s done it all, she surprises them with something else. But when it comes to her everyday worries, Drummond tries to keep the anxiety to a minimum.

“I just don’t worry, because I’m in today … I don’t think about yesterday or tomorrow too much,” Drummond told TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie. “I worry, probably, about my kids, more than anything. Have they gotten to their destination, and, you know.”

Drummond had great things to say about her children, but just like any mother, she’s always worrying about those small things — such as, did they get where they were going when she last said goodbye? It seems all mothers share the same everyday worry about their kids’ health and safety. And despite that Drummond tries not to sweat the small stuff, that’s not so easy with four children.

Ree Drummond’s kids are (almost) all grown up

Fans have watched Drummond’s kids on television since she show premiered. Even in the show’s intro, Drummond explains that she always needs her recipes to “be approved by cowboys, hungry kids, and me.” Drummond’s oldest kids were hardly teenagers when the show premiered, and now, her older daughter, Alex, is getting married this year.

Three of Drummond’s kids are out of the house, with one tying the knot and two still in college. Only her youngest son, high school student Todd, still remains a full time resident of the Drummond ranch.
