And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City reboot is getting tantalizing close to release. HBO Max announced a tentative December 2021 premiere. The cast, however, is still filming, and fans are learning more and more as snapshots from the set are being made public. It is finally abundantly clear that all is not right between Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big. Fans have picked up on three big hints that some sort of marital discourse will be a part of the limited series.

The appearance of Bridget Moynahan on the set sent the rumor mill on hyperdrive

Fans spotted Bridget Moynahan on the set of And Just Like That… early on in its filming schedule. Moynahan portrayed Natasha during the original series. In season 3, Mr. Big married Natasha and then promptly began cheating on her with Carrie. The affair directly led to their divorce. The show’s characters never mentioned her again after season 3.

The reemergence of Natasha has led fans of the original series to assume there is some sort of unfinished business between Mr. Big and his second wife. Fans have theorized that Natasha’s reemergence in Carrie’s life means trouble is brewing in Carrie and Mr. Big’s marriage. More importantly, some fans believe And Just Like That… will be featuring a secret child storyline.

Several months back, the reboot’s official Instagram announced the addition of a young character named George. His photo is no longer included on the feed. Some viewers think HBO decided to keep the addition under wraps because the new character is central to a major story arc. Time will only tell, though.

Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big’s return to Paris is making ‘Sex and the City’ fans assume the couple will need to rekindle their love

Moynahan’s inclusion in the reboot isn’t the only thing that has Sex and the City fans assuming there is trouble between Carrie and Mr. Big. While And Just Like That… has been mostly filmed on the streets of New York City, Carrie and her husband were recently spotted in a much different location. Photographers spied Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth acting out scenes in Paris. More specifically, the pair were in an area that will likely look familiar to Sex and the City fans.

As soon as photos of the pair in Paris surfaced, fans started to speculate that the duo would reignite a cooled romance. It makes a lot of sense. After all, Carrie and Mr. Big’s final scenes in the original series were filmed in Paris. It’s where Mr. Big finally told Carrie that she was “the one.” Before they get to reconciliation, though, there would need to be drama.

Photographers and fans spotted Carrie Bradshaw kissing another man on the set of ‘And Just Like That’

Fans have been aware of Moynahan’s involvement for months, and Noth and Parker were spotted in Paris a few weeks back. That would have been enough to convince fans there will be turmoil in the relationship. However, the most recent development has fans 100% convinced that there is a serious problem between Carrie and Mr. Big. This week, Parker was spotted, in character, kissing a man other than Mr. Big.

On Oct. 21, Parker was on set with Jon Tenney, who appears to be portraying a potential love interest for Carrie. Tenney’s character and Carrie leaned in for a kiss right in front of her famed apartment steps. There is no information about who Tenney will be playing. The production team has not yet listed Tenney, who is best known for his work on True Detective and The Newsroom, as a part of the cast.

While relationship hardships appear to be a serious theme within the series, some fans fear something worse is coming. For months, rumors have been swirling that Mr. Big will die early on in the series and that the entire limited run will be about Carrie processing his death. HBO Max has never commented on those rumors. Fans will need to wait until December to find out what is going on.
