Madlyn Ballatori says she wasn’t pregnant during filming

During the finale for The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger got engaged and shortly later tied the knot. At the reunion, they announced they were expecting their first child together.

She revealed she was seven months along at the time, causing rumors to swirl that she was pregnant while filming. In an April 2022 Instagram story post, the reality star addressed the rumors.

She uploaded a screenshot of an article explaining the cast filmed in Austin, Texas, starting in March 2021, and reunited in Los Angeles, California, in February 2022.

Madlyn added, “for clarity, Colby and I were married May 13, 2021, and will have our baby in the next two weeks.” She then included, “aka not pregnant during filming.” Therefore, the couple conceived their child around August 2021, four months after tying the knot and several months after filming concluded.

Colby Kissinger gave his girlfriend Madlyn the ultimatum

He brought Madly on The Ultimatum as he wanted to marry and start a family with her. While she admitted to loving her boyfriend, Madlyn claimed she wasn’t ready to settle down yet.

Additionally, she doesn’t believe there’s one person for everyone, the same way Colby seems to. Although he didn’t want to lose his girlfriend, Colby wanted to find someone on the same page as him.

He seemed to connect with April Melohn early on but admitted he wanted to feel that same “spark” he felt with Madlyn. On the other hand, she bonded with Randall Griffin, noting she found him “very sexy.”

During their conversation, she admitted Colby’s talkative personality, and optimistic outlook annoyed her. He later spoke to Lauren Pounds and felt more drawn to her after discussing her disinterest in having children.

Madlyn and Colby got engaged and married during ‘The Ultimatum’ finale

After breaking down in the bathroom as he claimed he loved his girlfriend too much to put her through the experiment, Colby moved on and confirmed his genuine interest in Lauren.

However, he didn’t have the chance to choose her as a trial wife because her boyfriend Nathan Ruggles proposed to her. Therefore, he spent his time with April, who also attempted to partner with people who got engaged, while Madlyn pursued her connection with Randall.
