Tricia Cast is known by soap fans as good girl Nina Webster on The Young and the Restless. The actor has been entertaining viewers on and off for 35 years with her portrayal of the writer. However, Cast showed off her bad girl side during a guest spot on this TV show.

Tricia Cast played a convict on ‘Married…with Children’

In May 1997, Cast guest-starred on the classic Fox sitcom Married…with Children. The Season 11 episode titled “The Desperate Half-Hour” had Cast portraying Starla. Starla is Bud Bundy’s (David Faustino) prison pen pal. With the help of her idiot boyfriend Lonnie (Charles Esten), Starla escapes from prison and heads to the Bundy home.

Hilarity ensues as Starla holds the Bundys and the Darcys hostage. Starla’s plans eventually are thwarted, and the police arrest her. However, before she leaves for prison, Starla tells Bud she wants to keep in touch.

Nina Webster’s history on ‘The Young and the Restless’

In 1986, Cast made her debut as Nina on The Young and the Restless. Nina is introduced as a pregnant teen who becomes friends with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). Nina planned to keep her baby; however, Rose DeVille (Darlene Conley) kidnapped the newborn and placed him up for adoption. Despite her best efforts, Nina failed to find her son. However, Nina reunited with her son Ronan Malloy (Jeff Branson) years later.

Nina moved on with her life and married Phillip Chancellor III (Thom Bierdez), much to his mother’s chagrin, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Nina gives birth to the couple’s son, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). But their happiness is shattered when Phillip dies in a car wreck. However, it’s later learned he faked his death.

Nina had relationships with Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) in the years that followed. The character departs and returns to Genoa City several times throughout the years. Nina’s latest comeback to The Young and the Restless occurred during Chance’s wedding to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). With Chance away on a secret mission, Nina’s helping Abby with the couple’s newborn son Dominic.

Although Cast’s Emmy-winning The Young and the Restless role is what made her famous, she has an extensive resume. Aside from Married…with Children, Cast has guest-starred on shows such as ER and Chicago Hope. She’s also appeared in several short films, including Puppy Love and The Delivery, which she wrote and produced.

According to SoapOperaNews.net, Cast is working on a new film called Death Breed. No release date has been announced, but the film is a horror anthology. Given all the drama her character’s endured on The Young and the Restless, Cast should be able to handle the horror genre.
