Those who’ve been keeping up with the Roloffs for years are excited to hear about what’s next for the family. And it looks like Little People, Big World is returning shortly. So, what can fans expect to see in the new season? And which storylines will be heavily featured? Here’s what we know so far.

LPBW is slated to return on Sept. 29 on TLC, OregonLive.com noted. According to the TLC press release, the new season will mark “the end of an era” for the show, as the times are seriously changing.

Fans knew the new season was coming, as Matt and Amy Roloff both explained on Instagram that production was happening on their properties. And Tori Roloff, Zach Roloff’s wife, is the latest to tell Instagram followers that the show will be returning in September. She took to her Instagram Story with her and Zach’s 3-year-old son, Jackson, to tell fans what’s going on.

“What’s your show called?” Tori asks Jackson while he’s eating.

Big World,” he answers.

Big World?” Tori asks. She then adds, “Little People, Big World.” And that’s when she makes the big announcement about the show’s return.

“Guess what?” she tells the camera. “It comes back September 29th!” Tori then asks Jackson to tell her fans, “Make sure you’re watching!” But Jackson mutters “happy birthday.”

“Or happy birthday, either one,” Tori laughs.

Amy Roloff is moving off of Roloff Farms for good in the new season

Those who follow Amy know she’s been at hard at work in making her new house a home. She previously made the decision to move off of Roloff Farms, sell Matt her half of the property, and find a place of her own for the first time. And it looks like fans will get to see it all happen in the new season.

Amy’s kept her followers up to date on the move via Instagram, too — and it hasn’t been easy. While Amy knew moving off of the farm was the right thing to do, she has tons of great memories on the property with Matt and their four kids. And she also noted that the new place she found isn’t nearly as “accommodating as the farmhouse,” so major adjustments are needed due to her height.

As for Roloff Farms, we’re sure we’ll hear plenty about it as well. Matt’s mentioned he’s not sure if pumpkin season will happen in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. And he’s also not sure what the fate of the farm will be when he retires.

“The ultimate scenario for me is that the twins would take over the farm and work together … but nobody likes to run that pumpkin patch like I do,” he noted on Instagram Live.

Zach and Tori Roloff’s lives with baby Lilah will be featured as well

Matt and Amy aside, we’ll see plenty of Zach and Tori as well. The couple has Jackson and baby Lilah, and Tori is navigating parenting two kids with dwarfism as a person of average height.

“This girlsie here is my homegirl. She’s my smiley, sweet, loving girl,” Tori wrote on Instagram about Lilah. “She is so obsessed with me and I can’t say I hate it. However, being quarantined has kept her from having the socialization that I think is so important at her age.” And Tori also mentioned she has extreme “mom guilt” because she wants “the best” for her kids no matter what.

“Are we doing enough? Are we being enough? Are we giving enough? It’s real,” she added.

We’re excited to see more of Zach, Tori, and their kids on the new season of the show. And, of course, we know Matt and Amy are excited to get back to reality TV, as that’s been a staple for them for over a decade. While the pandemic might’ve thrown a wrench into filming at first, it looks like the TLC crew figured it all out. Sept. 29 can’t come soon enough!
