Big Brother 23 has the possibility of a shakeup. That’s because Sarah Beth Stegall has the power, and she’s not in a powerful alliance. Who is she targeting this week? This is what has happened on the live feeds so far.

[Spoiler alert: Spoilers for Big Brother 23 live feeds that aired on Aug. 20!]

Sarah Beth Steagall won HOH on ‘Big Brother’

Kyland Young was the outgoing HOH. There was a new competition, and Sarah Beth won. This is going to be an interesting week since Sarah Beth isn’t in The Cookout

The Cookout includes Kyland, Xavier Prather, Derek Frazier, Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, and Azah Awasum. They plan to go to the final six together but also use pawns in order to go undetected.

Kyland is very close to Sarah Beth. Their plan would be for him to go on the block with her if necessary, then they’d have the votes to keep him. There is also the hope that if she does win HOH, then he could heavily influence her.

‘Big Brother’ Fans Aren’t Liking the Change With Veto Nom Cliffhangers

After the episode, Sarah Beth talked to each houseguest privately. She was hoping to work with Tiffany Mitchell and Claire Rehfuss as the Jackpot Alliance. She also considered targeting people like Derek Xiao. But then Kyland heavily influenced her decision after those talks.

He pushed hard for her to nominate Claire and Derek. Those are the same nominations Kyland made last week before the veto was used. She finally decided to agree to his nominations and went to bed.

Before the nomination ceremony, Sarah Beth had a private conversation with Derek F. She revealed that he’s going on the block. She told him he isn’t the target. Sarah Beth said she picked him because she knows he knows people with BB Bucks, and she wants the power to be played this week. She’s also using him as a pawn to make her actual target feel safe.

It was revealed after the ceremony that she nominated Derek F and Claire. If nominations stay the same, then it will be Claire going home. But the houseguests still need to play the High Rollers Room to see how that’ll affect the week, and then there is the veto competition. It looks like Sarah Beth doesn’t have much of a target beyond that for now because there are so many variables with the twist and veto competition.

This might be very disappointing to fans who were rooting for a power change this week. The Cookout is safe so far and has moved away from Sarah Beth’s radar. This is mostly because she doesn’t have that much information. She was very unaware that Tiffany has previously campaigned to get her evicted. Fans will have to stay tuned to see if anything will change.
