Victoria’s Secret model, Kendall Jenner has the tightest body of all the Kardashian-Jenners — and they’re all amazing so that’s saying a lot. But, Jenner admits it wasn’t always like that. It has taken her lots of hard work and dedication to look the way she does. How does she do it, and can you re-create her routine at home? Here’s what we know.
Kendall Jenner supposedly loves detox tea
According to interviews, Jenner claims to drink detox tea. Right before fashion week is when Jenner really ups her tea intake, to look her best. “I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea,” Jenner told E! News. “I have like, 12 cups a day.”

Lots of fruit, vegetables, and lean protein is key to Jenner’s diet. Especially fruit even though they are high in carbohydrates, Jenner snacks on apples during the day and also enjoys berries, like strawberries.
In 2016, Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar what a typical food day looks like for her. She starts the day with detox tea but doesn’t really eat breakfast. For lunch, she likes to eat lean chicken and brown rice. Snacks include apples or raw veggies with hummus. For dinner, she likes to eat out. She will usually get sushi from Nobu, or Craigs, where she orders the vegan spaghetti Bolognese or Margherita pizza.
What treats does Kendall Jenner enjoy?
Jenner said that just like sister, Kim Kardashian, she has a sweet tooth, and she likes to enjoy a cupcake every now and then. “Everything in moderation,” Jenner said. “Nothing wrong with cheating a bit, and treating yourself to something sweet. Life’s too short.” Jenner also said she enjoys frozen yogurt, the classic Tart flavor from Go Greek. “I could eat it everyday, but I aim for twice a week to treat myself,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
During fashion week, Jenner usually tightens up her diet, and doesn’t allow as many treats as she would during other times.
Does Kendall Jenner eat low carb?
It’s worth mentioning that Jenner hasn’t done any interviews about her diet in the last couple of years. Since that time, many celebrities, including big sis, Kourtney Kardashian, have endorsed a low carb diet, such as Keto. It’s likely that Jenner is now following the same advice that has helped so many other stars lose weight, especially since her diet wasn’t particularly high carb, to begin with. However, we can’t say for sure, and Jenner has mentioned that she doesn’t like fads, so this may not be the case. Until she does another interview about food, we won’t know for sure.

Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson has helped many Hollywood superstars get in shape. He counts Jenner among his clients, along with sister, Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Sofia Vergara. Peterson makes sure Jenner works hard to maintain her figure. Jenner is a cardio fan in particular, but she also does lots of ab work and strength training.
Kendall Jenner’s secret weapon
What’s the one thing Jenner makes sure that she does in order to look great for fashion week? Jenner told E! News: “My beauty secret for fashion week is just getting a good amount of sleep. I feel like I at least need about seven hours, eight hours of sleep to function.”
Jenner says she can really see a difference in her pictures if she hasn’t had enough sleep, so it’s something that’s very important to her. Now that’s something we can get on board with.
