TXT Release Tracklist for ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’

On Aug. 17, Tomorrow X Together will release The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE. The album is a repackage of the K-pop group‘s second studio album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE and the second album of the band’s The Chaos Chapter era. TXT released the tracklist for The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE on Aug. 6, giving fans some details about the album’s 11 songs.

TXT’s new album has 11 songs

Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai originally released The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE on May 31. The album kicked off a brand new era for the quintet, and The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE continues the era.

The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE has 11 tracks:

What we know about the new songs on ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’

Of the songs on The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, MOA have already heard eight of the songs, as TXT previously released “Anti-Romantic,” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori,” “Magic,” “Ice Cream,” “What if I had been that PUMA,” “No Rules,” “Dear Sputnik,” and “Frost” on The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.

“LO$ER=LO♡ER,” “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari),” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori (Emocore Mix)” are the new songs on the repackage album that have never been heard before.

The album’s lead single is “LO$ER=LO♡ER,” and TXT member Yeonjun is one of the song’s co-writers. All five members of TXT are credited as co-writers of “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari).”

According to a press release, “‘MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)’ is TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s first fan song dedicated to MOA who have supported them through thick and thin. In this track, the band logs their everyday thoughts and feelings in an ‘exchange diary’ with MOA and experiences magic in the sharing of their emotions. The song’s lyrics were penned by the five members.”

The members of TXT participated in songwriting on ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’

Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai debuted as TXT with Big Hit Music in 2019. Over the course of their careers, the members have become more involved with songwriting and music production.

In addition to co-writing songs on The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai participated in songwriting and producing on The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.

Soobin co-wrote “Ice Cream,” and Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun participated in co-writing “What if I had been that PUMA.” Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai are each co-writers of the track “No Rules.” Taehyun and Huening Kai co-wrote “Dear Sputnik,” and Huening Kai acted as a producer on the track. Yeonjun co-wrote the song “Frost.”

TXT will release an album preview for ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’

Leading up to the release of The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, TXT have shared concept photos and video teasers for the repackage album. On Aug. 11, TXT will drop an album preview for fans. A music video teaser for “LO$ER=LO♡ER” will be published online on Aug. 15, and a second music video teaser will be released on Aug. 16.

The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE and a music video for “LO$ER=LO♡ER” will be released on Aug. 17.
