What we know about the album

TXT has five members: Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. The Korean band first debuted in 2019 with their EP The Dream Chapter: STAR. They followed their debut EP with their studio album The Dream Chapter: MAGIC, and the members concluded The Dream Chapter album series in May 2020 with their EP The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY.

Going forward, minisode1 : Blue Hour will be a stand-alone EP before the quintet begins their next album series.

The EP has five tracks:

  • Track 1: “Ghosting”
  • Track 2: “5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나 (Blue Hour)”
  • Track 3: “날씨를 잃어버렸어 (We Lost The Summer)”
  • Track 4: “Wishlist”
  • Track 5: “하굣길 (Way Home)”

According to a press release from Big Hit Entertainment, “The third track, ‘We Lost The Summer,’ describes the daily lives of teenagers who are living a completely changed life due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

TXT released a teaser trailer for the ‘Blue Hour’ music video

“Blue Hour” is the second track on the EP’s tracklist and is the EP’s lead single. On Oct. 19, TXT released the first teaser trailer for “Blue Hour” on YouTube and Big Hit Entertainment’s social media channels. Before releasing the music video teaser, Big Hit Entertainment released individual teaser trailers for each member of TXT.

The music video teaser for “Blue Hour” is 37 seconds long and gives a brief audio snippet of the song. It opens with the members looking out at a Ferris wheel in the distance at sunset. The next scene shows Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai wearing all white while relaxing in an open field.

Together, they run across the field toward the Ferris wheel. The final scene of the first “Blue Hour” music video teaser shows Beomgyu looking at the Ferris wheel as it glows in the night. He drops his gaze and looks at the ground, and the music video teaser ends.

What MOAs think of TXT’s new teaser trailer

So far, fans have loved everything about TXT’s new comeback. The concept photos showed the social effects the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had on teenagers. Before the official “Blue Hour” music video teaser was released, the member teasers gave away more scenes from the “Blue Hour” music video along with the members’ individual styles for the comeback.

While the first “Blue Hour” music video teaser gave MOAs a sneak peek of the song, fans know the lead single could sound totally different than the teaser.

“Since the last comeback – my first as a brand spankin’ new MOA – I’ve learned not to trust TXT’s mv teasers until the very last one before the official comeback release AND/OR after the album medley reveal. I love the slow jam vibe of this teaser, but I don’t trust it,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
