Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules isn’t going quietly into the night after going on a tirade during season 8. In fact, he and wife Brittany Cartwright apparently don’t want to hear about his behavior from anyone, including reunion host and Bravo producer Andy Cohen.

According to Bravo, “Jax and Brittany lash out at Andy Cohen and anyone who holds Jax accountable for his behavior.” The reunion has to cover so much ground, Bravo had to split it into three-parts and dive into a multitude of fractured friendships, hookups, mishaps, and weddings.

Despite the drama-fueled season and reunion, Tom Sandoval had nothing but positive remarks about the reunion, which was held virtually. “I thought it was great!” he shared, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports. “I thought it was amazing! I was so impressed with what production did. They brought over these TVs, everything was completely connected, they rolled out paper, where to put your stools…”

Production was tight, but Taylor was on defense

Taylor said he was a little blindsided by what he considers to be one of the most intense reunions in the history of the show. “It is what it is with our group, you know? I mean, there always is going to be drama. There’s always going to be arguing whether there’s a show or there’s not a show,” he told E!. “I mean that’s just the group I’m involved with, as we’ve known each other for many, many years.”

“But the reunion, it was very intense. I didn’t think it was going to be that intense,” he added. “The second part of the season, you know, I kind of had a couple of ups and downs, but like I tell everybody else, you follow somebody with the camera for six months and don’t have a couple of sit downs in your life. Tell me if that’s normal.”

Taylor is known for lashing out at anyone who gets in his way. Producers report that he blocked them on social media when he learned that Sandoval was having a pool party on the same day as his. “We’re just easy to blame when someone’s acting irrationally,” producers shared during a recent episode. “Jax has since refollowed all of us.”

But everyone is put in the hot seat

Bravo reports that the reunion tracks the entire season. “In the explosive first hour of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, Andy Cohen and the cast connect from home to get to the bottom of everything from Jax and Sandoval’s friendship-ending feud to the biggest fight of Katie and Schwartz’s married life. Stassi and Beau grill Sandoval about his outburst over her book event, Charli and Scheana accuse Jax of bullying the new SUR employees, and Max drops a major bombshell about a secret hookup with yet another woman in the Vanderpump Rules universe that no one saw coming.”

Cohen then gets Scheana Shay to reveal what is her problem with Dayna Kathan. Plus Ariana Madix opens up about how Lisa Vanderpump guided her through her depression. James Kennedy also discusses his sobriety.

Kennedy’s new outlook on life showed with regard to the reunion too. “I thought it was really good. I thought that it was gonna be boring in the beginning, but after it was done, I was like, ‘This is the best reunion yet.’ I just didn’t know we were going to get our true emotions across the screen but it worked,” he said, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports.

Also, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Kristen Doute discuss their friendship and the fallout surrounding it.
