‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent Launches New Podcast Without Fiancé Randall Emmett Amidst Breakup Rumors
Vanderpump Rules cast member Lala Kent fueled rumors that her engagement to Randall Emmett has ended by relaunching the podcast they used to share as her own show.
Here are all the details of the alleged split and Lala’s new podcast.
Randall Emmett appears on ‘Vanderpump Rules’ with Lala Kent
Vanderpump Rules fans first met Lala Kent on season 4 of the popular Bravo reality show. But her fiancé, film producer and director Randall Emmett, didn’t join the cast until season 8, the last season that aired before the global pandemic forced the show to go on a year-long hiatus.
Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules is currently airing, and so far, the couple hasn’t shown any obvious signs of an imminent breakup. When the current season was filming, Kent had just given birth to the couple’s first child together, a daughter named Ocean. Emmett has two daughters from his previous marriage to You actor Ambyr Childers.
Randall Emmett directed and produced the 2021 film Midnight in the Switchgrass. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly started their famous romance while working together on the film. The couple appeared on Kent and Emmett’s podcast, titled “Give Them Lala with Randall.”
Lala Kent relaunched her podcast without Randall Emmett
Kent and Emmett launched their shared podcast in January 2020. After nearly two years of podcasting together, Kent has rebranded the podcast. On Monday, Nov. 22, the reality star debuted the show’s new cover art and title.
The previous artwork included avatars of both Kent and Emmett. The new one is a photograph of just Kent’s face with a crown on her head. The title has been shortened to “Give Them Lala.”
“Hello, my loves,” Kent said in the introduction of her new podcast. “It is Lala Kent, and I am so excited to introduce my brand new podcast, ‘Give Them Lala.’ This is a space where my listeners will be heard, and I have amazing guests lined up.
“Of course, we will always spill the tea. We’ll gossip about relationships, sex, betrayal, but most importantly, we will all leave feeling inspired.”
There have been breakup rumors about the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ couple
The podcast rebrand combined with Kent’s promise to “gossip about relationships, sex, and betrayal” is particularly meaningful in light of recent rumors surroundings the reality star’s engagement.
Although she has not publicly announced a breakup, booting Emmett from her show seems like a clear sign that Kent’s relationship with Emmett, both personal and professional, is over.
She has removed all photos of Emmett from her Instagram page, and he hasn’t appeared in her Stories for weeks. Kent recently shared a spicy video of herself wearing a swimsuit, with the Beyoncé song “Feeling Myself” added to the clip. She has also appeared to be decorating a new space, possibly a sign that she has moved out of her shared home with Emmett.
