‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent and Randall Emmett Celebrate Daughter’s Milestone Amid Breakup Rumors

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett of 'Vanderpump Rules' are rumored to have split. But they are still both celebrating their daughter's big moments.

Lala Kent has been going through a tough time. While her relationship with Randall Emmett may look solid on Vanderpump Rules, in real life, rumors have been spreading that the two parted ways. Amid all of the rumors, Kent and Emmett took a break from whatever feud they have going on to celebrate their daughter, Ocean.

Earlier this week, Ocean turned 8 months old. So, both Emmett and Kent took a little trip down memory lane with their posts celebrating the little girl.

“8 months ago you changed my life forever Ocean,” Emmett wrote on Instagram. “This was within the first hour you came into this world. I will love you and cherish you forever my angel. Happy 8 month birthday. Love your Dad.”

Kent, on the other hand, shared her well wishes via Instagram Stories.

“Happy 8 months my little angel. Are you excited?” she said in a clip of Ocean sitting outside. “Hey, you’re getting too big. You’re scooting now. You’re eating purees. I know it’s so fun. Love you.”

As the clip went on, Ocean began playing with her Give Them Lala Baby bow.

“Are you already getting this party started, O?” Kent asked. “Look at that bow. “She’s like, ‘How do I get it off?’”

“You look gorgeous. It’s more of a bowtie now. I dig it!” Kent continued. “Gorgeous.”

Rumors of a breakup

Rumors of the breakup began when Kent posted a video of her assistants pushing her luggage and baby carriage down a hallway as “Sorry” by Beyoncé played over the clip.

Later, she began addressing the rumors on her Give Them Lala…with Randall podcast.

“I want to acknowledge that I’m sure everyone knows what is going on between Randall and myself and just in my personal life,” she said.

“There will be a time where I feel comfortable enough to open up and share. Today is definitely not that day,” she continued. “It’s been a lot, I’m going through a lot.”

In a recent episode, she addressed the breakup more directly.

“I just never thought that my life would be where it is right now, you know. And that’s OK. That’s totally fine,” she said. “There’s moments when I have a pit in my stomach and I need God to take over right now because it’s too much. And he does.

“What I’ve been through in my life, which people have been through much crazier and traumatic things than I have been through. Those people inspire me, [those] who deal with things with grace and they come out on top even with the hand they were dealt,” she said.

Kent and Emmett got engaged in 2018. The two had been planning to have a lavish wedding, however, it had to be rescheduled several times due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Earlier this year, fans noticed that Kent had deleted all of the pictures of Emmett off of her social media. Kent has been known to do this in the past so that was not a huge red flag. It wasn’t until she was spotted without her engagement ring that people began to clue into the end of the relationship.
