Scheana Shay shuts down speculation that her relationship is in trouble

Some fans thought that the season will show a strain on Davies and Shay’s relationship. “I keep hearing S9 #PumpRules is going to show a strain in Scheana & Brocks relationship & I can see alot of people will have an opinion on that which I will not like!” a fan tweeted. But that’s when Shay set the record straight. “No one said that. They said Brock is at the center of a lot of drama, which he is. Lol. We are solid. Stay tuned!!”

One big reason why fans believe the couple faces tension is embedded in the Vanderpump Rules Season 9 trailer. “Brock has two kids,” Lala Kent tells Katie Maloney-Schwartz. “He hasn’t spoken to them in four years.”

Brock Davies addresses fan questions about his past

Fan reaction, like the tweet, prompted an “inside source” to offer more context to Page Six. “It’s a complicated family matter,” according to the source. “The pandemic hindered travel between the US and Australia, where the kids live. Fans will get a better picture of the full story — which is more than the teaser clip — when the show premieres.”

Davies also commented about how the pandemic played a role in why he hasn’t seen his other children. “How do your two kids feel about a new baby’s sissy?!” a fan asked him on Instagram when he shared Shay gave birth to their daughter. “Are they so excited for baby Summer Moon?” He replied, “We are excited to go home when the world opens up.”

He also addressed negative fan comments in another post. “Thank you for your words,” he addressed a fan who went after someone else who made negative comments on a post. “Look I have a past but I deal with that. People’s opinions are just that…”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ trailer teases extreme drama

Lisa Vanderpump told Showbiz Cheat Sheet the season would be drama-filled and she certainly wasn’t exaggerating. And while Shay appears to be firmly entrenched in the turmoil, she isn’t the only cast member in the center of everything. “I definitely am the happiest I’ve ever been,” Shay is seen sharing in the trailer. But later she’s in tears. “I like, want to go home to my baby, I don’t even want to be here anymore,” she bemoans.

Trouble is also brewing when Maloney-Schwartz demands that Tom Sandoval get on board with Tom Schwartz’s ideas for Tom Tom. Plus James Kennedy makes an extremely hurtful remark to his new fiancée Raquel Leviss.  When she says it’s her body, he snarks, “I’m the one that has to look at your face.”

Kent and Ariana Madix don’t exactly appear to be on good terms this season, plus Kent is seen telling Schwartz, “I can’t understand you. Oh, it’s because Sandoval’s d–k is in your mouth.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 9 premieres Sep. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
