Stassi Schroeder’s life looks completely different now than it did a few years ago. The reality star is no longer on Vanderpump Rules, she’s married to Beau Clark, and she has a newborn. Previously, Schroeder’s persona was all about looking cute and starting drama with her friends. Now, she’s revealed that she has been struggling with losing weight after having her baby.

Stassi fired from ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Last year, Schroeder was let go from Vanderpump Rules after her former castmate Faith Stowers revealed that she and Kristen Doute had falsely called the police on her. Schroeder later publicly apologized.

“Racially insensitive comments from my past have resurfaced,” she wrote. “It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better. I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused. I am grateful for the people in my life that continue to check me and push me to evolve into a more educated person.”

Schroeder and Clark welcomed their baby girl, Hartford, into the world on Jan. 7 and since then, Schroeder has been having a hard time adjusting to her new body.

“1st postpartum OOTD- I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s been 7 weeks since I gave birth and my maternity jeans are still the only ones that fit me,” she captioned an Instagram photo of her standing in front of a full length mirror. “I’m also wearing spanx to hold in what looks like a 4 month pregnant belly. I thought it would be way easier to bounce back, and everyday I wake up like a kid on Christmas morning hoping that when I look in the mirror, I’m going to see my pre-pregnant body once again and that obvs never happens.”

She went on to describe how messed up it is that women have to focus on getting their pre-baby bodies back after giving birth.

“My body issues consume my thoughts about 97% of the day, and it is a major hole I struggle to dig myself out of,” she wrote. “We’re told we have to eat enough calories to breastfeed but don’t overdo it because then we won’t get our bodies back. All the while I’m trying to stay mentally and emotionally healthy for my baby, my husband and myself.”

Though her fans have been supportive, Schroeder’s weight has been a problem for her.

“I’ve read some kind dm’s from people telling me to give myself grace but I’m not gonna lie, I truly don’t know how to give myself grace and that’s a depressing fact,” she continued. “I also feel like an asshole for complaining about my body when I was given the most perfect baby. Totally wish I wasn’t so vain, but unfortunately I am. All I can say is thank the lord shirt jackets are in. Hope this helped at least one other postpartum mama feel a little less alone today. On a positive note, my Chanel sling backs fit.”
