Virgin River, the hit Netflix series based on the novels by Robyn Carr is ever-evolving. Though the main storyline on the series centers on Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a Los Angeles-based nurse who moves to Virgin River for a fresh start and her relationship with Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), a retired Marine who co-owns the town’s bar with his best friend Preacher (Collin Lawrence), newcomers are always coming to town.

Virgin River Season 3 introduced Jack’s sister Brie (Zibby Allen), but following the events of the third season, will she leave town?

Who is Brie on ‘Virgin River’?

Though Jack gives off only child vibes, fans were delighted to meet his sister Brie in the third season of Virgin River. Jack is stunned when his hot shot attorney, baby sister arrives to town amid a “leave of absence” for work. Obviously running from something, Brie is standoffish, only really bonding with Mel and eventually Brady (Ben Hollingsworth), whom she gets into a casual relationship with.

The Brie character that we see on Virgin River TV series is very different than the one in Robyn Carr’s novels. In the books, Brie comes to Virgin River after her husband leaves her for her best friend and she loses a massive trial at work. On the show, her path is very different.

Will Brie leave town in ‘Virgin River’ Season 4?

Now that Brie has told Mel that quit her job and moved to Virgin River following a sexual assault, we think she has found a home near her brother. Though Brady has been arrested for shooting Jack, we don’t think Brie will be fleeing town.

“Objectively, I never want to leave her,” Allen told Hollywood Life. “But we’ll see where she goes from here. I think there’s some real value in the fact that she could be honest with Mel and that friendship is just kicking off. I think those two girls have a lot more to explore in terms of their friendship. I know that, certainly now, Mel could use a girlfriend. I think it’d be a shame for Brie to leave just when she’s starting to form these relationships. I’ll be interested to see what Sue does if we’re lucky enough to get a season 4.”

Will Brie begin dating Mike in ‘Virgin River’ Season 4?

It looks like Mike Valenzuela (Marco Grazzini) was almost gleeful while arresting Brady for allegedly shooting Jack. As he handcuffed his former comrade, he also used this an an opportunity to shoot his shot at Brie who he’s had his eye on for some time.

“Brie, if you wanna stick around, it’s your call,” he quips. “But if you want my opinion, you’re wasting your time. You could do a whole lot better.” In Robyn Carr’s Virgin River books, a romance between Mike and Brie actually takes place, the attorney never dates Brady.

Though this could be the Virgin River writers creating a love triangle, between Brady, Mike and Brie, we somehow don’t think Brie is going to be impressed by Mike’s antics. In fact, we think she will be digging deeper and returning to practicing law to figure out what really happened with Jack and if Brady is truly involved.
