It’s been nearly 20 years since Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent’s split but that hasn’t stopped the former lovers from bashing each other in the press about their relationship. Throughout the years, each has traded nasty insults toward each other during their lengthy feud. With Fox’s seemingly negative experience post their breakup, she’s opening up about whether or not she’ll ever date another rapper.

Vivica A. Fox dated briefly and have been feuding since their split

Fox and 50’s relationship only lasted a few months in 2003. Despite the brief romance, Fox has spoken openly about their time together, admitting that 50 was young and fun. But, 50 has stated he believes Fox used him to help rejuvenate her acting career as he was the hottest rapper at the time.

Many speculated that their split was due to the media scrutiny and attention, but Fox believes otherwise.

“No, it wasn’t the press…it was him,” Fox said during an interview with Tyra Banks on her talk show. “I just considered that ghetto love. It was his way of dealing with the break-up.”

She later hinted that she believes 50 is part of the LGBTQ community. 50 denies Fox’s implication, alleging that she was “crazy” and that her unpredictable personality contributed to their breakup.

Fox shared details of their intimate life in her self-help book, which 50 did not appreciate. He spoke out on social media, writing, “Early Monday, waking up to this s***, that was 14 years ago. SMH, who does this?’

50 has continually accused Fox of being obsessed with him throughout the years, which Fox denies. Fox’s feelings toward her ex have flip-flopped throughout the years, gearing more on the negative side. She does however still maintain that 50 was a true love in her life.

Fox and 50’s on-again-off-again feud continues. With such heartache from their split, Bevy Smith asked Fox whether or not she’d date another rapper during a recent interview with Fox on Smith’s Bevelations podcast.

“No, no, no,” Fox insists. She continues:

“I think that’s a rule that I learned – and nothing against rappers to be honest with you – I just want to date someone who is not in the entertainment business at all so that there’s no competition – none of that. I’m really looking forward to a nice businessman and a partner. Someone that I can have fun with, travel with, and I do what they do and they do what they do.”

50 isn’t the only celebrity Fox has dated. She’s also been linked to Dennis Rodman, was previously married to singer Christopher Harvest, and briefly engaged to club promoter Omar Slim White.

Fox won’t confirm whether or not she’s single. She did tell Smith that there’s “someone interesting” she’s currently dating but would not give any additional details.
