The premiere of the Disney+ series WandaVision is just weeks away, and new leaks have just sparked more rumors. Some fans believe they just spotted Black Widow herself Scarlett Johansson in leaked WandaVision set photos. Others believe they have figured out what role Kathryn Hahn will be playing after she appeared in the trailer. While some theories have been debunked, others are gaining steam.

Will Kathryn Hahn be the MCU’s Agatha Harkness?

When Marvel dropped the WandaVision trailer in the middle of the Emmy Awards last month, fans quickly noticed a new face. Kathryn Hahn appeared in the video as Wanda and Vision’s nosy next door neighbor.

The clip didn’t reveal her character’s name. But according to Nerdist, a popular fan theory is that Hahn will be playing the role of Agatha Harkness. In the comics, Agatha is a powerful witch who first appeared in Fantastic Four #94. She was one of the last characters that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created together before Kirby left for DC Comics in 1970.

Agatha eventually transitioned to the Avengers main title in Avengers #128. In that issue, she saved the titular heroes and revealed her plan to teach Scarlet Witch the ways of magic. Agatha and Scarlet Witch have a long history together in the comics. In fact, Agatha is a key player in Wanda’s life.

Some fans believe that Agatha could end up being a major player in phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s also a theory that she could introduce the Fantastic Four to the MCU.

Was Scarlett Johansson spotted on the set of ‘WandaVision’?

Some photos recently emerged from the set of WandaVision that featured a blonde woman who many believed to be Scarlett Johansson. This immediately sparked fan theories about Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff making a cameo in the Disney+ series.

WandaVision will reportedly begin following the events of Avengers: Endgame. As fans know, this means that Black Widow is canonically dead. But then again, so is Vision. A popular theory is that Wanda will manipulate reality in a way that brings Vision back to her.

But the chances of seeing Johansson in the series are slim. Wanda and Natasha had a strong relationship in the movies. But it doesn’t make much sense to bring Black Widow back into an alternate timeline before the solo film is released.

CBR reports those set pics were not of Johansson, pretty much squashing hopes that she would make a cameo. Instead, they were images of Hahn wearing a blonde wig. It appears that fans will have to wait until May 2021 to see more of Black Widow.

Another ‘WandaVision’ set leak claims Doctor Strange will make a cameo

Bounding Into Comics reports that WandaVision set leaks are coming fast and furiously from 4Chan. Of course, that means they should be taken with a grain of salt. But if they are true, the leaks are pretty juicy.

Warning: Possible Spoilers Ahead

One leak claims that a major theme in WandaVision will be mental health. Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) is reportedly depressed following Vision’s (Paul Bettany) death in Avengers: Infinity War. The leak also claims that S.W.O.R.D. rebuilds Vision, but he no longer has his memories or emotions.

Not only does he not remember his death at the hands of Thanos, he also has zero recollection of his relationship with Wanda. When she finds out about the rebuilt Vision, Wanda supposedly attempts to use her powers to restore her husband to his former self. However, she ends up creating a pocket dimension modeled after some of her favorite childhood sitcoms.

More leaks claim that Evan Peters will show up as Mephisto. And Agatha will help Wanda “break free and embrace the mantle of the Scarlet Witch.” There is also a leak that claims Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will have a cameo.

He will reportedly arrive “to help Wanda in the end and recruit her as his apprentice, setting up her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

WandaVision will premiere on Disney+ in late November or December.
