‘The Kardashians’ premieres in April

The Kardashians premieres on April 14 and will air on Thursdays from there. The show is exclusively on Hulu, but a subscription is required in order to watch. Packages start as low as $6.99 per month and provide access to thousands of other kinds of content, including previous seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

KUWTK started in 2007 when the family was rising from budding fame and shot them to superstardom. The show lasted for 20 seasons on E! before ending in June of 2021. But their break did not last long. Within weeks, they had signed a new deal with Hulu and begun filming.

‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu is a ‘story of love and life in the spotlight’

The Kardashians will arrive just under a year after the conclusion of KUWTK and promises a front-row seat to both their personal and professional lives. “From the intense pressures of running billion-dollar businesses to the hilarious joys of playtime and school drop-offs, this series brings viewers into the fold with a rivetingly honest story of love & life in the spotlight,” reads a quote from the Hulu synopsis.

How Is Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians’ Different From ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’?

Momager Kris Jenner teased to Ellen DeGeneres that the majority of the show is just Kourtney and Barker making out, which, after reviewing the first two episodes, we can admit has some veracity to it. But there are also plenty of other exciting things happening. Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy, Kim’s Saturday Night Live hosting debut, and Khloé Kardashian’s life with her and Tristan Thompson’s daughter, True, are just some of what takes the stage this season.

“This is the next chapter,” Kris teased at the Disney Upfronts event in May of 2021, via Us Weekly. “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family, fans want us to be who we are and since moment one, they’ve been emotionally invested in our show just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.”

How many seasons will there be?

Variety reports that there are 40 episodes of The Kardashians, which will be split into two parts. But will there be more? When asked, Kris told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s game to do “another 20” to match KUWTK.

“I hope another 20, right?” Kim added. “If we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it.”
