Welcomes to Plathville Season 4 premieres Tuesday, May 17 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. The new season will have 12 episodes and follow the members of the Plath family as they navigate new twists and challenges in their life.
Here’s the season 4 synopsis from TLC:
Kim and Barry raised their nine kids on an idyllic and secluded farm in southern Georgia, separated from social media and modern culture but life looks a whole lot different for the family now. Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah are in Tampa, far from the family drama but making it on their own in a new city is not all fun and games. Micah is stretching his wings in Los Angeles and finding new friends and room to grow. Kim and Barry have five of their nine kids still living in their house but life is no longer as conservative as it once was. Kim is questioning their lifestyle and her choices overall and some unexpected alliances and friendships occur as a result. As the Plaths explore new cities, navigate their love lives, change, and grow in ways none of them ever expected, what’s certain is the recent past never seemed so far behind.

All 12 episodes of Welcome to Plathville Season 4 will air on TLC. If you don’t have cable, the channel is included with several live TV streaming packages, including YouTube TV, Sling TV, and Fubo TV.
New episodes of Welcome to Plathville will also be available to stream on discovery+, along with the three previous seasons of the show.
Kim Plath says she’s ‘not happy’ with her marriage in season 4 teaser
In earlier seasons of Welcome to Plathville, Kim and Barry’s commitment to a conservative lifestyle led to tension with their older children and daughter-in-law Olivia. Now, it sounds like Kim is loosening up a bit. However, that may end up exposing issues in her relationship with her husband.
“I’m not happy in my marriage,” Kim says in a teaser for the new season shared on Twitter.
Barry wonders if his wife is having a mid-life crisis. “She’s entering into that phase,” he said in a trailer for season 4 (via YouTube).
Meanwhile, Micah is enjoying the expanded data pool in L.A. and Moriah must come to terms with the end of her relationship with Max Kallschmidt. Ethan and Olivia also find that moving to Florida hasn’t solved all their issues.
“I don’t know what he’s doing,” Olivia says in the teaser. “He has this little double life.”
