Like many media personalities, Wendy Williams has something to say about every pop culture controversy. What makes Williams more compelling than many of her peers is how her takes are often unexpected. Recently, Britney Spears’ son, Jayden Federline, opened up about his family. Williams’ response to Federline’s comments was predictably unpredictable.

Federline got candid about his feelings towards his controversial grandfather. Williams was not impressed. In fact, she thinks Federline could be making life harder for his mother.

Some fans felt Federline’s comments may reflect these allegations, as Federline said he was attempting to help his mother “break free.”

So far, Spears has made no public comment on what her son had to say. It’s unknown if his words are having any strain on her. Federline’s video was deleted from his Instagram, although copies of the video can be found elsewhere online. After all, the internet is forever.

Williams made no comments on the #FreeBritney movement. She didn’t connect any of Federline’s actions to the movement. Unlike supporters of #FreeBritney, she had nice words for Jamie. She never elaborated on why she thinks Jamie is doing his best.
