Wendy Williams had been missing from social media and the television world since stepping away from her talk show to focus on her health. After months, Williams broke her silence and talked about her health and how she was doing. Now fans are sending her words of encouragement for a speedy recovery.

Fans share the love for Wendy Williams

Williams is a beloved host due to her vibrant personality and hot takes on the latest happenings in pop culture. There’s no one else that can deliver entertainment news like Williams and she’s greatly missed by her fans. Although her talk show has gone on with guest hosts, Williams is irreplaceable and her voice on the show can’t be duplicated. After Williams shared an update on her well-being, it wasn’t long before fans replied to the video and shared the love sending her positive vibes.

“So happy to see and hear from my Aunt Wendy! Love you so much,” a fan replied.

“We miss you so much Wendy, my life has been in ruins since I haven’t had my daily dose of hot topics,” a follower expressed.

“So glad to see you! You sound very sane and look healthy Wendy!” an Instagram user said.

“Hope you feel great, get well. I miss you much. Also going they medical issues.. taking care of elders. Home from work…this pandemic. We are praying for your healing. Be well,” another fan added.

Last time Wendy Williams shared a health update

Williams has not made an appearance on her own talk show this season as right before the start of production she tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). However, further “medical issues” prevented her from coming back and Williams has been gone ever since.

The last health update Williams gave fans came via a written statement posted on her show’s Instagram profile.

“As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic. I’m making progress but it’s just one of those things that’s taking longer than we expected,” read the statement on Instagram. “I’m a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready.”

Williams didn’t forget about her co-hosts (her fans) and thanked them for their support adding, “I have heard your prayers and comments and feel all the love! You are everything to me. I love spending my mornings with you all and I’m doing everything I can to get back to work, but right now Wendy has to focus on Wendy. I love you for watching.”

Sherri Shepherd rumored to be taking over Wendy Williams

As Williams’ health has prevented her from returning to her talk show there have been a lot of rumors about the future of The Wendy Williams Show. One of the loudest rumors is that Sherri Shepherd would be taking over for the remainder of the season, ending the rotation of guest hosts.

At the same time, Variety reported that Shepherd was in talks about landing a deal to host her own talk show. Shepherd’s talk show could potentially be the one that replaces Williams’ show in the fall of 2022 if she is unable to return.
