Fans react to new guest hosts

After the production announced the guest lineup, it wasn’t long before fans weighed in on the choices. Some expressed their opinions about the hosts, while others shared missing Williams.

“No one wants to watch The Wendy Williams Show without Wendy Williams,” a fan replied.

“This has become depressing.. she’s clearly not coming back… shame on the entire production team for their Silence! Gotta update my DVR,” a follower said.

“So Wendy just not coming back to her own show…. Can we have a update,” an Instagram user mentioned.

“Wendy’s at home, drinking smoothies and collecting her coins. Thank you!” another fan commented.

“Sooo Wendy, is done with the show? If so I respect her for not pulling the show and letting everyone get paid,” another follower noted.

“It’s just not the same without Wendy. She has a relationship with her fans and a style/standing that just can’t be replicated by some fill-in. And even they know it too,” another Instagram user commented.

Last update from Wendy Williams

The last health update from Williams came on Nov. 8 when production shared a statement coming straight from the talk show host.

“As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic. I’m making progress but it’s just one of those things that’s taking longer than we expected,” Williams said in a statement posted on Instagram. “I’m a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready.”

Williams didn’t forget to thank her fans and show their gratitude for their wishful comments.

“Most of all, I want to thank my fans,” she added. “I have heard your prayers and comments and feel all the love! You are everything to me. I love spending my mornings with you all and I’m doing everything I can to get back to work, but right now Wendy has to focus on Wendy. I love you for watching.”
