What the BTS members thought about ‘Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul’

Due to guidelines surrounding the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in-person attendance at Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul was limited. Fans attending in person were also not allowed to chant or shout and instead had special clappers to cheer on the band.

In a VLIVE livestream, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook gave their perspective on what the concerts were like for them as performers. Jin was not able to attend the VLIVE after undergoing surgery.

“I did go into it having prepared against it but… But it took two or four times more effort to bring our excitement up for the show,” Suga said of the concerts.

Jimin added, “I took my in-ear headphones off in the middle. With them on, we’re all excited and loud but without them, it’s dead quiet. I was like, ‘No way, I should keep it on.'”

Performing ‘Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul’ was different for BTS

Throughout the VLIVE, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook continued their discussion of Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul.

“In a concert with screams like before, when you take in-ears off, screams blow your ears off, right? But this time, I took them off and it was calm,” Suga said.

“I can tell you now that it’s done but… In fact, when we have the in-ears on, we can’t hear the clappers at all,” RM said in the VLIVE.

While performing with the smaller audience took getting used to, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook took many times in the VLIVE to compliment ARMY and how they handled not being able to shout. Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook also made their own clappers during the VLIVE.
