SEVENTEEN performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Jan. 13. The performance marked the band’s second U.S. TV appearance in 2021 and came just days after the K-pop group performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

SEVENTEEN has 13 members

SEVENTEEN debuted under Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The K-pop group has 13 members: S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi, DK, Seungkwan, Jun, Hoshi, The8, and Dino. S.Coups is the leader of SEVENTEEN.

All 13 members are involved in the creation of their music which has led to the members being known as “self-producing idols.” The members are also split into three different sub-units: hip-hop, vocal, and performance.

Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan make up the vocal unit, and Woozi is the sub-unit’s leader. S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon are members of the hip-hop unit, and S.Coups is the leader of the hip-hop unit. Jun, Hoshi, The8, and Dino form the performance unit and Hoshi is the performance sub-unit’s leader.

SEVENTEEN performed ‘Left & Right’ on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’

SEVENTEEN released their EP Heng:garæ on June 22, 2020. The album has six tracks: “Fearless,” “Left & Right,” “I Wish,” “My My,” “Kidult,” and “Together.”

“Left & Right” is the EP’s lead single, and SEVENTEEN chose to perform the song on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The performance begins in an office setting with the members wearing blue and gray suits.

Throughout the performance, the office transforms into a special stage representing a subway station. The stage featured framed photos of SEVENTEEN’s album covers, graffiti, and a subway sign directing viewers to The Kelly Clarkson Show.

On Jan. 14, the official YouTube channel for The Kelly Clarkson Show posted an exclusive video of the band playing “Last Time I…” In the game, the members explained the last time they watched a good movie, had a perfect day, and more.

“Today’s a perfect day to me,” Mingyu said.

“Why?” DK asked.

“I just feel like it is,” Mingyu replied.

Wonwoo added, “For me, it’s a perfect day when we release new music.”

Midway through the segment, the members were asked to answer the last time they got goosebumps.

“We have a show called Going Seventeen, and one time, we had a horror-themed episode,” Dino said. “It was like a special episode and I remember I was so terrified I got goosebumps. I was screaming and running around everywhere.”

How to watch SEVENTEEN’s online concert

The members of SEVENTEEN have a busy January. After performing “Home;Run” on The Late Late Show and “Left & Right” on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the band will put on an online concert called “IN-COMPLETE.”

According to a press release, “SEVENTEEN will be performing more than 20 songs, presenting top notch performances for their global audience. Viewers will be able to enjoy the virtual concert in four multi view screens that consist of a main display and conceptual ones.”

The concert will be livestreamed on Jan. 23 at 1 a.m. PST, 4 a.m. EST, and 6 p.m. KST. Fans can purchase tickets for “IN-COMPLETE” on Weverse Shop.
