On Oct. 24, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS put on an online concert called “Permission to Dance On Stage.” The concert was streamed on VenewLive, and fans around the world were able to watch BTS perform some of their hit songs. What songs did BTS perform during “Permission to Dance On Stage”?

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook opened “Permission to Dance On Stage” with “ON.” BTS originally released the song as the lead single of their 2020 album Map of the Soul: 7. The band also opened their 2020 “Map of the Soul ON:E” online concert with “ON.”

After “ON,” BTS performed “Fire,” a single from their 2016 compilation album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever. “Fire” is one of BTS’ most popular songs and is frequently performed during the septet’s tours.

The band then performed “Dope,” a single from the 2015 EP The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1. Like “Fire,” “Dope” is oftentimes included in setlists for BTS’ tours.

To conclude the first section of “Permission to Dance On Stage,” Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook performed “DNA,” the lead single from their 2017 EP Love Yourself: Her.

BTS performed ‘deep and emotional’ songs

For the next part of the concert, V told viewers the songs performed were “deep and emotional.” The group began the concert section with “Blue & Grey,” a ballad from their 2020 album BE.

Following “Blue & Grey,” BTS performed “Black Swan,” a pre-release single from Map of the Soul: 7. To introduce the song, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook performed an intricate dance break to the song’s instrumentals.

The band then performed a brief snippet of “Blood Sweat & Tears,” the lead single from BTS’ 2016 album Wings. “Blood Sweat & Tears” transitioned into the “Fake Love,” the lead single from BTS’ 2018 album Love Yourself: Tear.

The band performed more upbeat songs

After the septet closed the first half of the concert with “Fake Love,” “Permission to Dance On Stage” took a bright and cheerful turn. For the remainder of the main concert, BTS performed upbeat songs.

The band began the next section of the concert with “Life Goes On” from BE. BTS then performed “Boy With Luv” from their 2019 EP Map of the Soul: Persona followed by two of their English-language singles “Dynamite” and “Butter.”

Next, BTS performed “Airplane Pt.2” from Love Yourself: Tear. BTS then performed “Baepsae” from the 2015 EP The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2.

After “Baepsae,” BTS performed three songs from BE, “Dis-ease,” “Telepathy,” and “Stay.” BTS then performed “So What” from Love Yourself: Tear.

For the last three songs of the concert, BTS performed “I Need U” from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1, “Save Me” from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, and “IDOL” from their 2018 compilation album Love Yourself: Answer.

BTS closed the concert with ‘Permission to Dance’

After the concert concluded, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook held an encore consisting of three songs. The band began the encore with “Epilogue: Young Forever” from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever.

BTS then performed “Spring Day,” one of the most popular songs in their discography. “Spring Day” was originally released on the band’s 2017 repackage album You Never Walk Alone.

To conclude “Permission to Dance On Stage,” BTS performed their English-language single “Permission to Dance.”
