BTS performed three songs for ‘Proof Live’

Proof Live was held on June 13 on the band’s BANGTANTV YouTube channel. The concert began streaming at 8 a.m. EDT and 9 p.m. KST.

For the brief concert performance, BTS performed three songs from Proof to the accompaniment of live instruments. Anderson .Paak made an appearance as a special guest and played the drums.

Proof Live setlist:

  1. “Born Singer”
  2. “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”
  3. “For You”

What is the significance of the songs performed during ‘Proof Live’?

The three songs BTS chose to perform during Proof Live each have a special meaning. BTS originally released the song “Born Singer” in 2013 as an unofficial track.

The song is adapted from J. Cole’s song “Born Sinner,” and J. Cole gave BTS permission to include an official version of “Born Singer” on Proof.

The inclusion of “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” is obvious, as it is the lead single on Proof and captures the tone of the anthology album.

“For Youth” is an ode to ARMY, BTS’ fan base. On Proof, “For Youth” closes the entire album as it is the last song on the third CD. BTS choosing to end Proof Live with “For Youth” shows their appreciation for ARMY.

BTS’ album ‘Proof’ consists of 48 songs

While Proof Live featured a short setlist, BTS had a long list of songs to choose from. Because Proof is made up of three CDs, the album has a total of 48 songs.
