The Kardashians have built an entire empire simply by being themselves. They are unashamed about the ups and downs they’ve experienced in their love lives. A quick glance at the list of the Kardashian women’s ex-loves and it’s obvious the ladies have a type. While the sizes, shapes, and occupations vary from each of the Kardashian’s current and former love interests, they obviously have a thing for athletic types. While perusing the list of men who have enjoyed spending time with one of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, it’s natural to wonder who was the most successful athlete of them all.

Chandler Parsons hangs with Kendall Jenner

One of the athletes that’s been linked to a member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is Chandler Parsons. The thirty-one-year-old athlete has played professional basketball for the Mavericks, the Grizzlies, the Rockets, and the Hawks. While not a superstar, Parson’s has been a steady and reliable player for each of his NBA teams. He is also one of the few basketball players who wasn’t a Laker to attract the attention of a member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. All it took was one dinner with Kendall Jenner and the media went wild, speculating they were a couple. Parson’s laughingly denied the rumors, explaining that he and Jenner used the same gym. He said the two spent some time hanging out, but it wasn’t a romantic connection. Rumors of the pair dating briefly resurfaced three years later.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian

While they didn’t draw quite as much attention as Kim and Kris, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian were considered the most solid couple. The pair fell in love and married shortly after meeting and stayed together for four years. Fans loved the couple so much that Lamar and Khloe even had their own reality show. While fans loved the couple, Odom’s teammates were concerned. Prior to meeting Khloe, Odom was one of the best players in the NBA, but after the couple married, his game started falling apart. The steady decline of his playing ability fed fuel to the rumor that Kardashians were a curse to professional athletes.

Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian

When most people think about Kim Kardashian and professional athletes, their thoughts turn to her marriage to Kris Humphries, which lasted just seventy-two days. Few people remember that there was a time when Kim Kardashian dated Reggie Bush. The only time their relationship really made waves was long after the couple had moved on. When he got married, people who vaguely remembered the couple noted that Bush’s new wife bore a remarkable resemblance to Kim. When he’s asked about his famous ex, Reggie says he wishes her nothing but happiness.

One of the interesting things about Reggie Bush is that he managed to avoid the Kardashian Curse. Reggie Bush was briefly a Heisman Trophy winner before he had to return the award. He was one of the best running backs in the NFL, setting many records and consistently putting up impressive stats. The biggest problem Reggie Bush encountered during his career as a pro athlete was signing with teams like the Detroit Lions, who were unable to build a solid game around him.

The most successful athlete of them all

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan has the distinction of having the ex who was the most successful athlete. Before marrying Kris Jenner, Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner enjoyed international fame as an athlete. Jenner won gold medals in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics, she also set a world record and was ultimately named the World’s Greatest Athlete.Â
