Thore’s reality show will return Tuesday, November 10 at 9/8c on TLC. The new season will chronicle some major developments in her life, including her sudden split from fiance Chase Severion after she learns he’s expecting a child with another woman. She’ll also have to deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Fortunately, her longtime friend Buddy Bell is on hand to provide the support Thore needs.

Thore will also have to consider how to move forward with her successful online workout business with Ryan, given that he’s still in close contact with her ex. As she reels from her unexpected breakup, she begins to wonder if weight loss surgery is the path to finding love.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans were overjoyed to learn that the coronavirus pandemic hadn’t put a stop to filming new episodes of the show.

“Can’t wait! You are so beautiful and I love watching your show! You are one of the strongest women I’ve ever seen. Keep shining that light pretty girl,” one wrote. Another declared Thore’s announcement “the only good thing to happen in 2020.”

Thore called off her engagement in May

The last season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life chronicled Thore’s whirlwind romance with Severino, including his romantic proposal in Paris in October 2019. But the happy times didn’t last. A few months later, the two ended their engagement

Thore made the announcement on Instagram, explaining that Severino had rekindled a relationship with another woman while he and Thore were living apart.

“Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had resulted in a pregnancy,” she wrote in the May 21 Instagram update. “Chase will be a father in October.”

Thore added that the two had called off their wedding and asked “for privacy for all involved as we move on and focus on the future.”
