Who Are ‘Bridgerton’ Stars Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor Currently Dating?
Bridgerton premiered on Netflix in December 2020, and since its debut, many people have linked the show’s stars, Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, together in real life due to their sizzling chemistry on-screen.
But despite fans being convinced the two actors are dating each other behind-the-scenes, Page and Dynevor recently set the record straight on these ongoing rumors, laughing off speculations that they are romantically involved off-screen.
So, now that it’s been revealed the two aren’t dating in real life, we wonder: Are Page and Dynevor single, or are they currently writing their own love stories with significant others? Here’s everything we know so far.

Based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling series of novels, Bridgerton follows the families of British high society and their romantic pursuits through the eyes of a mysterious gossip columnist, Lady Whistledown — voiced by none other than Julie Andrews.
The Shonda Rhimes-produced series made its global debut on Dec. 25 on Netflix and quickly became one of the most-watched original series on the streaming platform.
The show also turned its stars, Dynevor and Page, into overnight sensations as the chemistry between their characters Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, caused quite the stir.
Since its debut, fans have linked Dynevor and Page on and off-screen. Some are convinced the actors are dating in real life as their chemistry in the show seemingly translates off-camera.
But despite fans’ belief that the actors are romantically involved, Page and Dynevor recently set the record straight on their relationship.
During a Jan. 9 appearance on Access, Dynevor and Page laughed off rumors about any of the actors from Bridgerton dating in real life.
“I think everything you need to know is on camera. That’s why we presented it so beautifully for you,” Page joked. “All the sparks that flew off of the beautiful scripts that we were handed, and so I think that the sparky scripted material are more than enough.”
Phoebe Dynevor has previously spoken about her love life
Though Bridgerton viewers are fully up to date on Daphne and Simon’s love lives, Dynevor and Page’s relationship statuses remain a bit more of a mystery.
While the Younger actor was linked to recruitment executive Simon Merrill, in 2017, Elite Daily reports the pair have since called it quits.
Following her breakup from Merrill, Dynevor began dating actor Sean Teale. Though the two seemed like they were smitten with each other from their red carpet appearances and social media posts, they eventually went their separate ways as Teale began sharing photos of another woman on his Instagram in 2018.
Since then, Dynevor has kept much of her personal life to herself and has yet to share whether or not she’s dating anyone.
Instead, she’s been vocal about her role on Bridgerton and the chemistry she shares with Page on-camera.

“We spent so much time together; we were also staying at the same hotel, which was quite funny to see each other for breakfast,” she recently shared with ELLE. “We had a lot of rehearsals, and then we rehearsed together on our own. By the time we got to set, we knew each other really well, we had spent a ton of time together, so we weren’t getting to know each other as filming went on. And then we had an amazing intimacy coordinator, who we blocked out all the intimate scenes with. They were very intricately rehearsed. And I think that made us both feel really comfortable.”
Regé-Jean Page prefers to keep his love life private
As for Page, he also hasn’t spoken publicly about his current relationship status or past romances.
Though he’s given vague references to his love life, Page has never confirmed or denied whether he’s dating anyone. However, he has admitted to being a hopeless romantic at heart.
“I’m a huge fan of romance as a concept. Romance is a wonderful thing and we need more of it in the world,” he told Entertainment Weekly in December 2020. “Most things at their core are love stories anyway, whether they realize it or not. It’s hilarious, the more seriously a show tries to take itself and detach itself from that, the more that the love story generally tends to come forward.”
For now, it seems as though Page is single and will likely continue to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, even if he finds himself in a relationship.
