Why Kendall Jenner Is Justin Bieber’s Favorite Of All of Hailey Baldwin’s Friends

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have one of the most scrutinized relationships in the pop culture world. The young couple has been very open with their fans about the struggles that they have faced during the course of their romance, but in spite of many obstacles, including Bieber’s problems with anxiety and depression, they have remained together.

Both Baldwin and Bieber have a circle of famous friends, with Baldwin regularly rubbing elbows with some of the world’s most elite models. Recently, Bieber sat down with James Corden for a game where he was forced to rank Baldwin’s friends, from his favorite to least favorite.

Hailey Baldwin’s famous friends

Baldwin is a very popular model and has managed to rise to the top of the industry in just a few years. As the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, Hailey Baldwin has always had access to an elite circle of friends, and these days, she runs with a very exclusive crowd.

Baldwin counts personalities like model Ireland Baldwin (who also happens to be her cousin), Kendall Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Kylie Jenner as her best friends. Many of Baldwin’s famous friends also showed up to Baldwin and Bieber’s second wedding ceremony, making waves in their designer gowns.

Although Baldwin is very focused on her career and her marriage, she still makes time to hang out with her friends. Still, it seems like her husband, Bieber, definitely plays favorites when it comes to who hangs out at their house. 

Justin Bieber had to choose his favorite of Hailey Baldwin’s friends

In late February, Bieber visited Corden’s late-night talk show and even sat down with the host for a rousing game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” Bieber was faced with a difficult choice: Answer Corden’s tough questions or snack from a plate full of unappetizing options like cow tongue and beetle jello shots. 

Almost right out of the gate, Bieber was faced with a difficult task to rank all of his wife’s friends, from his favorite to least favorite. If Bieber chose to not answer the question, he would have to eat a nasty treat from the platter in front of him.

Bieber seemed uncomfortable with the question. But he answered it anyway, naming Jenner as his favorite of Baldwin’s friends, followed by Hadid, and finally, Delevingne.

Bieber also clarified his answer by stating: “I know Kendall the best — I’ve spent the most time with Kendall. She’s a good friend of ours. I haven’t spent a lot of time with Gigi and I haven’t spent a lot of time with Cara.”

In spite of his disclaimer that he doesn’t know Delevingne that well, the model didn’t seem too happy with his response. 

Were any of Hailey Baldwin’s friends mad at Justin Bieber?

Delevingne and Bieber have a complicated relationship. In the summer of 2019, Delevingne slammed Bieber for seemingly taking sides with Scooter Braun in the Braun/Swift feud.

In an Instagram comment, Delevingne questioned Bieber’s claim that he is a gentleman and told him that he should be “lifting women up instead of tearing them down.” Bieber didn’t address Delevingne’s comment at the time, but clearly, some lingering drama has remained.

After Bieber’s appearance on Corden’s show, where he named Delevingne as his wife’s least-favorite friend, the model spoke out again. In an Instagram post, Delevingne called out Bieber, stating: “If you have nothing against me, why don’t you unblock me? Love you @haileybieber—he should have just eaten the bull penis.”

She also posted a screengrab of Bieber’s appearance on the show. There’s no word on when or why Bieber blocked Delevingne. But fans are certainly curious to see if either one of them will offer an explanation in the days to come.
