Today, David McCallum is well known for playing Donald Mallard — the former Official Medical Examiner for the NCIS Major Case Response Team — in NCIS. Yet, prior to the hit crime procedural, the actor starred in several well-known TV and cinematic roles. McCallum has been an A-lister for quite some time now.

McCallum also starred in The Great Escape, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, Sapphire and Steel, and more. NCIS merely marks the actor’s most recent and longest-lasting role. Yet, the NCIS star is not the only McCallum who works in the entertainment industry. His son, Val McCallum is no stranger to the biz. Yet, unlike his father who shares his talents on the screen, Val McCallum is a musician.
