Why Some ‘Big Brother’ Fans Are Saying It’s Time for Derek X to Go
Big Brother 23 fans had a strong reaction to one of the shocking moments in the newest episode. Some of them are saying Derek Xiao has to go home for being too smart.

Other houseguests might figure out The Cookout on ‘Big Brother’
The Cookout includes Azah Awasum, Derek Frazier, Xavier Prather, Kyland Young, Tiffany Mitchell, and Hannah Chaddha. They have avoided meeting in the same room after immediately agreeing to look out for each other.
Now they are hoping to go to the final six together. They’ve been successful and came up with the plan to become duos with people outside of their alliance. That way, they can go on the block together and have the votes to evict the other person.
Why some ‘Big Brother’ fans are saying it’s time for Derek X to go
In the Aug. 22 episode, Derek X explained that he often runs down a list of possibilities of who could be working together. He was in the bathroom with Claire Rehfuss and Tiffany. Claire mentioned Xavier might be a good target because he’s working with the men. Tiffany said all of the men are probably working together then left.
Derek X and Claire then talked privately. They suspected Tiffany and Xavier were working together.
“I can’t help but be paranoid in the Big Brother house,” Derek X said in the diary room. “There’s no way we’ve made all these weeks, and no one in this house has an alliance. When X comes up in conversation with Tiffany, she always tries to deflect the conversation toward someone else.”
He said an alliance could be Xavier and Tiffany. Claire added Azah and Derek F. “I bet Kyland’s in that too,” Derek X said. Claire then added Hannah. “If all of those people are actually working together, then there’s a whole side of the house that I’m just not aware of,” Derek X said in the diary room.
Claire and Derek X basically name-dropped the whole Cookout. So many fans who are rooting for them started to say they had to go.
“DX has the cookout completely figured out… unfortunately I guess that’s why he has to go:( #bb23,” one person tweeted.
“Not dx naming the entire cookout alliance yeah it’s his time to go #bb23,” another fan tweeted.
Who is Sarah Beth’s target?
The episode ended with Alyssa Lopez winning Roulette and taking Derek F off the block because he’s a pawn. She wanted people to have more of a fighting chance on the block. She then spun the wheel, and it landed on Xavier. This was upsetting to Alyssa because she considers him to be her closest ally. He is now sitting next to Claire.
The episode ended with Sarah Beth Steagall saying she’s going to see how the veto goes. She’s hoping she can backdoor Derek X if he doesn’t win. “I’m sorry, America. I’m sending your boy home,” she told the camera.
