Now that Peter Weber’s Bachelor season is coming to a close, fans are looking forward to both Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor: Summer Games. And there have been plenty of repeat castmembers on BIP in the past. We know Kristina Schulman, who got her start on Nick Viall’s Bachelor season, attempted to find love twice on the beaches of Mexico. So far, it hasn’t panned out.

So, will the Russian beauty go back to Paradise again? She’s talked at length in regard to why she even chose to go back a second time after her first heartbreaking experience. And since so many of her fans hoped to see her as the next Bachelorette, we know she’d get plenty of love (though also possibly some hate) if she returned to the show.

Kristina Schulman hasn’t had good luck on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

Viall didn’t choose Schulman to be his special someone at the end of his season. And while she thought she found a lasting romance with Dean Unglert on her first season of Paradise, that didn’t go well, either.

On Season 4, Unglert pursued both Schulman and Danielle Lombard — and both women were over feeling like they were fighting for Unglert’s attention. Schulman ended up leaving the show, and Unglert expressed serious heartbreak. Though the two reconciled and dated after the show, they ultimately parted ways again despite having deep and serious feelings for one another.

During Season 6, Schulman tried to find love once again — though she didn’t have much luck. Her first date was spent with Blake Horstmann, as she had plenty of angry words for him after what happened at Stagecoach. Though Horstmann asked if Schulman wanted to give romance a shot later in the season, she ultimately declined.

She went the second time with a totally different mindset

Schulman had a totally different attitude during her second season of Paradise. She went in with a no-nonsense attitude, and many thought this made her much less approachable. But Schulman defended her character on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast while also explaining her intentions the second time around.

“It was too serious last time and I was very vulnerable, all of those things. Great, but I wanted to have fun,” Schulman explained. “I was open to meeting someone, but ultimately, I wanted to have that strength to show that it’s OK to come back and be stronger this time around.”

Demi Burnett, who was also on Season 6 of Paradise, told Schulman on the podcast that she “did amazing.”

“I had fun. I had a lot of great friends,” Schulman added.

Will Schulman make another appearance?

So, can we expect Schulman to make another appearance in Paradise? We’re not sure — and Screen Rant notes Summer Games is coming back as well, so Paradise might not be in the cards.

So far, Heavy notes cast predictions are already out regarding who’s heading to Mexico. It looks like Natasha Parker and Kelley Flanagan are rumored to reappear, as they were fan favorites from Weber’s season. And Mykenna Dorn also seems like the perfect fit for Paradise. Though Dorn had a difficult and dramatic time with another contestant during Weber’s season, her self-empowerment had many rooting for her to find love in the future.

If Schulman does return, it looks like Unglert and Horstmann won’t be. Unglert is currently happily with Caelynn Miller-Keyes, and after Horstmann’s debacle with Stagecoach from 2019, it looks like he’s taking a step back. Perhaps a fresh start in Paradise with none of her exes is exactly what Schulman needs.
