Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith opened up about their marriage after August Alsina’s big interview. They addressed their previous breakup and Pinkett Smith having an “entanglement” with Alsina. Now Smith has shown he isn’t against blocking fans for their jokes.

Jada Pinkett Smith called her relationship with August Alsina an entanglement

Pinkett Smith responded to Alsina’s claim that they had a relationship by doing an episode of Red Table Talk. She sat down with her husband to also talk about their relationship.

They said there was a time they broke up and decided to stay married. Her friendship with Alsina then changed to something more romantic. “From there as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August,” she said.

“I just wanted to feel good,” Pinkett Smith explained. “It had been so long since I felt good. And it was really a joy to just help heal somebody. I think that has a lot to do with my codependency, which is another thing I had to learn to break in this cycle of just that idea of needing to fix and being drawn to people that need help.”

Their relationship eventually ended. The episode ended with the married couple saying they’re in a better place. Fans really latched on to the word “entanglement” after that.

Alsina released a song called ‘Entanglements’

Alsina soon released a song called “Entanglements” after the episode. It’s pretty clear that the lyrics are about their past relationship together.

“The definition of entanglement/is when you tangle in the sheets/ I know we don’t call it a relationship/but you still f**kin’ with me,” reads some of the lyrics. Another lyric claimed, “You left your man to f**k with me just to get him back.”

The song didn’t help the memes and jokes go away. Smith and Pinkett Smith seem to want to move on from the situation despite that. They haven’t made any other statements or publicly responded to Alsina.

There was one person who commented with “Ok don’t get entangled.” The actor replied back with, “Hahaha …Okay…I can admit it. That’s funny! I’m definitely gonna blocking you. But the joke was VERY Funny!” The comment was captured by Entertainment Tonight.

That wasn’t the only comment that referred to the Red Table Talk episode. Fans later commented looking for the specific one that got a reply. “Where’s the guy who made the entanglement joke in the comments,” read one fan’s comment. “Who else looking for THAT comment,” reads another comment.

It looks like Smith admits some of the jokes are funny. But he isn’t against blocking fans for making them.
