Yellowjackets hasn’t revealed whether many characters survive or die after the plane crash. Jasmin Savoy Brown, who plays young Taissa in the Showtime show thinks there is a twist to Lottie’s (Courtney Eaton) story that will surprise many fans.

‘Yellowjackets’ Season 1 mentions Lottie in the future

Yellowjackets slowly revealed a few deaths and survivors in the first season. Lottie hides the fact that she ran out of medication after the private jet crashed. She then begins hearing and seeing things in the wilderness.

It’s questionable whether she’s mentally ill or has secret abilities. The show reveals she was able to see things before they happen at a young age, then her parents got her treated.

The season ends with Lottie starting a cult in the wilderness. But it’s unknown if she survives it. However, the season ends with someone asking who is Lottie Matthews? Cult members then come in and take Natalie (Juliette Lewis). Many fans assume this means Lottie is alive and still in charge of a cult. They might also be involved in killing Travis.

Jasmin Savoy Brown thinks Lottie’s is dead

Brown and Liv Hewson (who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns) were guests on the Dyking Out podcast. Brown revealed one of her theories.

“I don’t actually think there is an older Lottie. I know that they go ‘Who the f*ck is Lottie Matthews?’ I think that it’s similar to how people talk about Jesus or Buddha,” she said.

“I think it’s similar,” Brown later added. “I think it’s the cult of Lottie. She actually died out there and maybe she’s the person who falls in the pit. But they’re gonna make us think that’s not the case and then mid-way through the season we’ll find out she did die and these people are just crazy and like living on in her honor.”

Brown also thinks the “Antler Queen” passes on to different people. This is all unconfirmed, but the show has foreshadowed that Lottie could be the Antler Queen.

The first season flashed forward to the soccer team in the wilderness in the winter. They wear furs and masks as they eat one of their fellow team members. One of them wears antlers on her head and seems to be in charge.

Fans have called this character the “Antler Queen.” It’s unclear who it is, but many believe it’s Lottie because of her actions by the end of the season. There is also a scene of her standing in front of the antlers, which hang on the wall in the cabin.

Sadly, it looks like Brown’s theory is at least partially wrong. Co-creator Bart Nickerson told Deadline that Lottie is alive. However, it’s still unclear who was in the pit. Fans will have to wait for next season to find out more about her.
