Yellowstone’s highly anticipated season 4 is coming soon. And the promotional push from the Paramount Network is promising that “everybody pays” when the series returns in November. In a recent inside look at Yellowstone’s upcoming season, star Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) teased that “everybody pays” and for those that dared to harm the Dutton family — “everybody’s gonna get f***ed up.”

Which Dutton family members made it out of ‘Yellowstone’ season 3 alive?

The final moments of Yellowstone season 3 featured what appeared to be a coordinated attack on John (Kevin Costner), Kayce (Luke Grimes), and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly).

“John Dutton has been shot up, Beth has been blown up. Kayce, he was in a gunfight,” Hauser explains in the three-and-a-half-minute video.

Fans will recall that the season 3 finale ended with an unknown man driving up and shooting John while he was helping a woman change a tire on the side of the road.

Beth was cleaning out her office at Schwartz & Meyer when her assistant opened a package that exploded. And a group of armed men stormed into Kayce’s Livestock Commissioner office, forcing him to take cover behind his desk.

The opening scene of season 4 will happen in real time

When the new season begins, Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton) revealed that the story will pick up “right where we left off.”

“The action of the scene is [in] real-time,” Bentley noted. “My heart was pumping just reading it so I think it’s going to be pretty spectacular to see.”

Kelsey Asbille (Monica Long Dutton) agreed with Bentley, adding that the new season “opens with just equal amounts of chaos” like the end of season 3.

Cole Hauser says ‘everybody’s gonna get f**ked up’ in ‘Yellowstone’ season 4

Someone put the Dutton family in harm’s way at the end of season 3. And as Eden Brolin (Mia) explained in the sneak peek, that guarantees “there’s gonna be some kind of revenge” in season 4.

“Naturally, we want to figure out who did this. You could only imagine what kind of force might be unleashed against the bad guys,” Ian Bohen (Ryan) noted. While Jen Landon (Teeter) added, “The retaliation that those who wronged the Duttons are facing is one of incomparable scale.”

Ryan Bingham (Walker) shuddered at the thought of “the wrath that will be coming upon someone.”

While Hauser promised, “Everybody’s gonna get f**ked up.”

Who was behind the attacks on the Duttons?

Fans want to know who survived season 3 and who attacked the Dutton Family. Bentley teased that it could be anyone — even Jamie.

“It could be anyone from Broken Rock, it could be big money players trying to bring the ski resort. It could be small-time criminals looking for retribution. Or, It could be someone right in their own living room,” Bentley said.

After the Yellowstone season 3 finale, he says “it feels like a lot of battle lines are being drawn.” It also feels like “the stakes are at their highest now.”

Everyone on ‘Yellowstone’ is afraid of Rip

New series regular Will Patton (Garrett Randall) told Express that you never know what’s going to happen next on Yellowstone. He admitted it was actually surprising where season 4 went. The one thing he’s always been sure of, though, is that everyone is afraid of Rip.

“Well, if you know Taylor [Sheridan], it’s gonna be hard-hitting,” Patton said with a laugh. “Not many people are involved with forgiveness on that show. You don’t want to offend anybody on that show. That’s all I know to say right now. Everybody who comes on that show is afraid they’re going to be hung upside down naked by Rip.”

Season 4 of Yellowstone premieres Sunday, November 7 on the Paramount Network. Seasons 1 through 3 are available exclusively on Peacock.
