Hollywood’s biggest night is almost here! 

The 98th Oscars will celebrate the best in film from 2025. Box office smash Sinners leads the pack in nominations with a record-breaking 16 nods, including Best Picture. One Battle After Another scored 13 nominations, while Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, and Sentimental Value each have nine. Nominated actors include Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Jessie Buckley, Michael B. Jordan, Rose Byrne, and Kate Hudson. This year’s ceremony will also see a statuette awarded in a new category: Best Casting.

Conan O’Brien returns to host the 2026 Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. 

The late-night comedian is no stranger to big audiences. But he admits that he had some nerves heading into his inaugural Oscars hosting gig last year. 

“It’s this massive event. It’s the iconic awards show. And it’s the night for Hollywood. All these people are watching. It’s a massive, live television spectacle. And backstage, everyone is acting like it’s another day at the Dairy Queen … I didn’t feel that way,” he said. “I marveled at how calm everybody was.”

How to watch the 98th Oscars live

The Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 15. The ceremony airs live on ABC, Hulu, and broadcast outlets in more than 200 territories worldwide starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The official live red carpet show starts at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. 

This year, the Oscars ceremony will stream live for all Hulu subscribers, including those with ad-supported plans. 

Presenters at the 2026 Academy Awards include last year’s winners Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison and Zoe Saldaña.
