5 Must-Watch Shows Coming to Netflix in November 2025
It’s the end of the era at Netflix. This month, the first four episodes of the final season of mega-hit Stranger Things debut on the streamer. But the last stand in Hawkins isn’t the only thing to look forward in November. Other highlights include a new drama about the assassination of a president, the second season of a popular Ted Danson comedy, and the Netflix debut of a beloved children’s TV show.

‘Death By Lightning’
Matthew Macfadyen and Michael Shannon team up for Death By Lightning, a four-episode limited series about the 1881 assasination of President James Garfield (Shannon) by his greatest admirer, Charles Guiteau (Macfadyen). Nick Offerman plays VP Chester Arthur.
“I wish there were more people like James Garfield nowadays,” Shannon told TV Insider of his corruption-fighting character. “The more I learned about him, the more I fell in love with him.”
Death By Lightning premieres November 6.
‘Sesame Street’
Beloved children’s TV series Sesame Street gets a new home on Netflix this month. Season 56 will feature “fresh format changes,” according to Tudum, along with the return of favorite characters like Cookie Monster and Elmo.

Sesame Street premieres November 10.
‘The Beast in Me’
This eight-episode thriller follows acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes), who has receded from public life and stopped writing since her young son’s tragic death. But when famed real estate mogul – and murder suspect – Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys) moves in next door, she finds an unlikely subject for her new book. Aggie is both fascinated and horrified by her new neighbor, who is the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance, and her hunt for the truth sets off a deadly game of cat and mouse.
The Beast in Me premieres November 13.
‘A Man on the Inside’

Ted Danson is back as Charles Nieuwendyk in season 2 of comedy-mystery A Man on the Inside. This time, he’s going undercover as a professor in an effort to discover who is blackmailing Wheeler College president Jack Berenger (Max Greenfield). As he hunts for suspects, Charles is diverted by free-spirited music teacher Mona (Danson’s real-life wife Mary Steenburgen). But could Mona actually be the blackmailer he hopes to unmask?
A Man on the Inside premieres November 20.
‘Stranger Things’ Season 5
The wait is finally over. More than three years after Stranger Things Season 4 premiered, the hit series is back for its final season. Episodes release in three batches starting Thanksgiving week and will see the show’s young heroes united in a single goal: to find and kill Vecna. But the government has placed Hawkins under military quarantine, complicating their mission and forcing Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) back into hiding.
“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”
Stranger Things Season 5 premieres November 26 at 5 p.m. PT. Volume 2 (three episodes) releases on December 25. The finale drops on New Year’s Eve.
