‘7 Little Johnstons’ Sets March 17 Return to TLC, and Liz and Brice’s Wedding Takes Center Stage
The Johnston family is planning a wedding!
Liz Johnston will say “I do” to boyfriend Brice Bolden in the new season of 7 Little Johnstons, premiering March 17 on TLC.
‘7 Little Johnstons’ Season TK is all about Liz and Brice’s wedding
The new season is “all about love, laughter, and one unforgettable trip down the aisle,” according to the network. In the upcoming episodes, the big family of little people “rallies around Liz and Brice ahead of the first wedding among the Johnston kids.”
The new season picks up right after Brice’s romantic proposal to Liz.
“I was happy, super surprised, and I could not wait to tell everybody,” Liz says in the teaser for the new episodes, adding that she wants “a quick engagement.”
The newly engaged couple – who are parents to a daughter, Leighton, born in 2023 – jump headfirst into wedding planning. The rest of the family pitches in every step of the way to make Liz’s dreams of a perfect backyard event a reality.
“Between now and November, we have a lot to get done,” Liz’s mom Amber Johnston says.
Will rain spoil Liz and Brice’s big day?
Viewers will follow the happy couple’s journey to the altar, including engagement photos, dress shopping, a bachelorette party, and all the excitement (and chaos) leading up to the big day.
But it’s not all happy celebrations for the Johnstons. Trent Johnston’s mom is in hospice care, and he and his kids are looking at a future without their beloved Nana.
“We are concerned she is not going to be able to attend the wedding,” Trent says. (Sadly, Nana, whose real name was Mary Alice Johnston died in October 2025, a month before Liz and Brice got married.)
As the big day approaches, Liz and Brice face another challenge. A torrential rainstorm threatens to put the brakes on their happy day.
“We really just have to pray that the rain goes away in time for the ceremony,” Liz says. “I may be walking down the aisle in the pouring rain.”
As Liz gets ready to walk down the aisle, one person is notably absent from the preparations. Her older sister Anna Johnston doesn’t appear in the trailer for the new season of 7 Little Johnstons. The previous season of the family’s reality series focused heavily on Anna’s serious rift with her parents and tension with her younger siblings. Now, it appears she’s stepped away from filming the show.
7 Little Johnstons premieres Tuesday, March 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
