’90 Day’ Alum Liz Woods Is Engaged!
Liz Woods may have finally found the man of her dreams.
On Monday, the TLC star announced that she is engaged to a man named Alec.
“After all the laughs, adventures, late nights, and memories together, we finally get forever! Alec and I are so excited for this next chapter,” she said.
Liz is currently appearing on 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5. This season followed the mom of one as she and fellow 90 Day alums Sophie Sierra and Julia Trubkina went on a girls’ trip to the Dominican Republic. There, Liz connected with Villa, a friend of another 90 Day star, Pedro Jimeno. But despite her spark with Villa, Liz ultimately realized that Alec, who’d she’d begun seeing prior to filming, was the guy for her.
Liz’s current engagement comes after her tumultuous time in the 90 Day universe. Her time on the franchise began in 2021, when she starred in the first season of The Single Life alongside then-boyfriend “Big Ed” Brown. She and Ed got engaged and went on to appear in 90 Day: The Last Resort and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Eve After? But the dysfunctional pair never made it down the aisle. Liz rebounded with a short-lived relationship with a man named Jason. Meanwhile, she also revealed that she’d been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
On Instagram, some 90 Day fans shared their congratulations with Liz. But many felt she’d fumbled by dumping Villa to be with Alec.
“Damnnn I hope this one was worth it over Villa,” one fan commented.
“I hope she is happy, she deserves it,” another wrote. “I was Def team Villa though lol.”
Liz is set to share more about her surprise engagement during the 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5 tell-all, starting Monday, May 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
