’90 Day Fiancé’: Jasmine Claims Gino Threatened to Report Her to Immigration Before She Got Pregnant
Jasmine Pineda is about to drop a bombshell on her husband Gino Palazzolo in the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
In the September 14 episode of the TLC reality series, Jasmine tells Gino that she’s going to have a baby with Matt Branistareanu, the other man in her open marriage. But she says the marriage was already on the verge of collapse before she announced her pregnancy.
Jasmine from ‘90 Day Fiancé’ says she and Gino were separated when she got pregnant
In a clip from the episode, Jasmine tearfully breaks her news to a stunned Gino. But in a series of posts on her Instagram Story on September 12, Jasmine says that her marriage was over before she discovered she was pregnant, and that Gino was already threatening to divorce her and report her to immigration authorities prior to the baby announcement.
During 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, a frustrated Jasmine asked for an open marriage because she was tired of dealing with a sexless relationship. He reluctantly agreed, but the arrangement quickly spiraled out of control. While Jasmine pursued a connection with Matt, Gino started dating multiple other women, she says. (One of those women, Natalie, appeared on this season of Happily Ever After?) Before long, he had decided he wanted out of the marriage entirely.
“I got pregnant after we were separated and he had also already stated very clearly to me that he was officially with Natalie in a committed relationship and had no love, interest in me at all,” she wrote. “He asked for a divorce as well. Once again, this was before I got pregnant.”
‘90 Day’ star said her husband made immigration-related threats
In her posts, Jasmine said Gino also threatened to get immigration involved if she did not agree to his request for a divorce.
“He also said multiple times that since we didn’t have a prenup, he would report me to immigration if I didn’t agree to divorce without claiming any kind of money (not even the one I earned from working on [TV]). He said this before I got pregnant.” (Jasmine has previously alleged that Gino withheld her reality TV earnings during their marriage.)
Jasmine reminded her followers that all these conversations happened prior to filming The Last Resort tell all, when Gino appeared to be shocked when he saw her prominent baby bump.
“I had no chance whatsoever to explain any of this at the tell all,” she wrote, adding that Gino played an “innocent, naive victim as per usual.”
Jasmine went on to say that even though her marriage to Gino was in shambles, she felt it was important that he hear about the pregnancy from her.
“I wanted him … [to] know how much I loved him,” she wrote. Though she didn’t intend to get pregnant, “because of my beliefs and convictions the only choice for me was to have the baby even when I didn’t plan for her.”
Jasmine and Matt’s daughter, Matilda, was born in March 2025. They are still a couple, based on recent updates on her social media.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8 p.m ET/PT on TLC. Episodes stream on HBO Max.
