’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Julia Trubkina Speaks Out About Online Bullying Amid Her First Pregnancy: ‘Very Bad Messages’
Julia Trubkina from 90 Day Fiancé is taking a break from social media as she navigates becoming a first-time mom.
Julia and Brandon from ’90 Day Fiancé’ shared pregnancy news in August
In August 2025, the TLC star and her husband, Brandon Gibbs, announced that they were expecting baby No. 1. While they’ve yet to announce the little one’s arrival, many of her followers suspect she’s already given birth. That’s led to many comments from people demanding to see the infant and accusing her of “hiding the baby.” Julia has said the barrage of cruel messages has left her feeling distraught and discouraged.
“I never thought I’d be writing a post with tears in my eyes about how women are bullying another woman,” she wrote in a post-Christmas update on Instagram.
Julia, 32, went on to say that she was choosing “peace and privacy” and focusing on her health and family instead of sharing her life with her followers or TLC’s cameras.
“We have a lot to deal with at this moment!!!” she wrote, before opening up about the aggressive behavior or some 90 Day fans, including those who felt she owed them candid updates about her life and health.
“I’m receiving a lot of very bad messages, calls from strangers to my hospital trying to find out about my health history! I think it’s time for me to take a break from the internet,” she wrote. “Usually, I’m always positive and receive so many wonderful messages and comments from people who truly believe in me and are kind.I hope you laughter and smiles when you see our funny videos for you guys! But this is the first time it’s really breaking me down.”
Julia said she’d share a baby update when she is ready
In a follow-up post on New Year’s Day, Julia shared that she’d received plenty of positive feedback in response to her previous update.
“I truly didn’t realize how many wonderful people there are; I received so many warm messages,” she wrote.
“Yes, I’m not the first pregnant woman in world, as everyone keeps reminding me,” she continued. “[B]ut that doesn’t mean my story isn’t important to me and my family and I will tell my story for you guys here when we all feel better … I just want to say thank you for the kind words; you have no idea how much I needed them now.”
Many commenters sympathized with Julia, agreeing that now was a time to focus on herself and her family.
“You are entitled to privacy around your child,” one person wrote. “You do NOT owe anyone anything. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for protecting your family. I wish you and your family a Happy New Year.”
