Unfortunately, Liz is still facing health challenges, she announced in an Instagram update on January 30. On Friday, the TLC personality shared a tribute to her daughter, Riley, writing, “She’s not my little 5 year old anymore she’s blossomed into her first year of a teenager.”

As Liz reminisced, she also revealed some “heartbreaking” news.

“The [doctors] found another cancerous mass on my ovaries and I’m taking this time to be alone with the ones closest to me,” she wrote. “The next step is a hysterectomy.”

Ovarian cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, according to the American Cancer Society. There is no screening test for the disease. But if someone has symptoms that occur daily for more than a few weeks such as a swollen belly with weight loss; gas, bloating, and loss of appetite; belly or pelvic pain; or feeling like you need to pee all the time, they should talk to their doctor.

‘90 Day’ star says cancer has taken ‘really big emotional toll’

Liz shared the news of her cancer diagnosis in late 2024, revealing that she’d gone through 14 rounds of chemotherapy (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup).

In an episode of 90 Day: Diaries that aired in September 2025, Liz opened up about her health concerns after being diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer

“Finding out I had cancer took a really big emotional toll on me,” she said as she prepared to sit down with her doctor to discuss treatment options. “I would like, at least, some good news from the doctor of not feeling as sick throughout this journey.”

90 Day: The Single Life Season 10 premieres Monday, February 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. Episodes stream on HBO Max.
