All of Taylor Swifts Upcoming Interviews Following the Release of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’
Taylor Swift was extremely busy when she decided to write and record her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. The entire album came together during the Eras Tour and in the early moments of her relationship with Travis Kelce. After announcing the album on New Heights, Swift took a little break from the media. She gave no interviews, opting instead to spend her time attending a couple of Chiefs games and Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding in the lead-up to the album’s release on October 3. The break was much needed, and we hope she’s well rested. For the next seven days, Swift will be making the rounds on just about every talk show and radio show you can think of. We have compiled a list of interviews Taylor Swift has planned for immediately following the release of The Life of a Showgirl.
Taylor Swift has several interviews planned for the day of the release
Swift isn’t in the United States for her album release. According to several sources, the beloved pop star is currently in the United Kingdom in the lead-up to the release. She’s in the UK to film The Graham Norton Show. The episode will air at 11 pm BST, which is 6 pm EST.
Stateside fans probably won’t get a chance to see the full interview right away, though. The series is not available to stream in the United States. There are sure to be clips, though. The Graham Norton Show isn’t the only interview she’ll appear in on the day of the release. Swift filmed the show on September 2 to free herself up for radio interviews on October 3, reports the Sun.
While in the United Kingdom, she’ll also sit down for a chat for Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton. Although the radio show isn’t available in the United States, the station offers an app that allows for listening on desktop and mobile devices. She is also set to appear on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast, Capital Breakfast, and Magic FM, all in the UK. The very busy pop star will round out her day by dropping in on Z100 New York around 6 am EST.
She has several stateside interviews planned, too
Once Taylor Swift lands stateside again, she’ll hit the ground running and continue her press tour. Jimmy Fallon excitedly announced that the pop star would appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 6. The announcement was made via a fun promotional video. She’ll also pop in to chat with Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers on October 8. According to Variety, it will be Swift’s third appearance on the show.
To round out a very hectic and busy album release week, Taylor Swift will sit for one more interview on October 10. Exactly one week after the album release, fans can catch her on SiriusXM. She is set to appear on The Morning Mashup hosted by Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson, and Stanley T. The show goes live at 7 am on the Hits 1 channel.
As for spotting the songstress out in public, she’s been keeping a low profile, even while enjoying a sporting event. We don’t anticipate Swift will be making it to the Chiefs’ Monday Night Football appearance against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 6. It looks like she’ll have the time and space to unwind come October 12, though. On October 12, the team faces the Lions at their home stadium. Whether the camera will find her is anyone’s guess, though.
