Where Is the ‘Alone’ Season 11 Cast Now?
Alone isn’t for the faint of heart.
The popular History Channel reality series follows people as they attempt survive in some of the most extreme spots on Earth, including the Canadian Arctic, Mongolia, Patagonia, and the Great Karoo Desert in South Africa. Whatever the location, the format is the same. Contestants are dropped in a remote location with a limited selection of hand-selected survival items, such as firestarter, a tarp, and a bow and arrows. Once on their own, they must find food, water, and shelter. The goal? Outlast all the other contestants, and all while self-filming their journey along the way. The person who endures the longest wins bragging rights – and a whopping $500,000.
Season 11 of Alone, which aired in 2024, recently landed on Netflix, introducing a whole new audience to the show. Curious what happened to the show’s cast members after their time in the wilderness ended? Here’s an update on the Alone Season 11 cast in 2026.
Where are the ‘Alone’ Season 11 finalists in 2026?
Alone Season 11 featured one of the most intense competitions in the show’s history. Three of the season’s 10 cast members lasted more than 80 days in the Mackenzie River Delta, roughly 125 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
In the end, William Larkham Jr., a hunter, trapper, and fisherman from Newfoundland, emerged victorious, with a total stay of 84 days. Despite his big win, Larkham’s life still involves doing the outdoor activities that he loves. He shares updates on his adventures on his YouTube channel, Big Land Trapper.
Larkham beat out Timber Cleghorn, a survivalist and humanitarian aid worker from Indiana, who tapped out after 83 days. These days, he’s still deep in the world of survival and outdoor skills, (which he’s passing on to his children). He posts about his life on Instagram. He also opened up about his life, including his off-the-grid childhood, experiences in aid work in war-torn countries, and his time on Alone, in his book Memoir of a Wildman, which is available on Amazon.
Dub Paetz was another strong contender on Alone Season 11. This Michigan native lasted 80 days before he had to tap out. While he didn’t win, his time on the show left a lasting impression.
“I get to go down ALONE memory lane every time I come into this room,” he recently captioned an Instagram photo showing his display of Alone mementoes. “I can’t explain the feeling of holding and looking at some of these items. They all have small carvings in them to mark the days I survived, which really bring me back to my thought process on specific days … So many small wins that I’ll never forget on the road to 80 days.”

While the rest of the Alone Season 11 cast didn’t last as long as the top three, they all put in impressive performances.
Sarah Poynter, who tapped out after 42 days because of kidney problems, still lives in Alaska, where she runs a fishing lodge with her husband. You can follow her on Instagram at @akswampcreature.
Isaiah Tuck, a game warden from West Virginia, went home after 23 days. He opened up about his time on the show, and what led him to tap out, in a December 2025 episode of the Warden’s Watch podcast.
Jake Messinger was medically evacuated after 21 days due to a bowel obstruction. While his Alone journey didn’t end as he hoped, it didn’t dampen his love for the outdoors. He continues to post about his life as a fly fishing guide on his Instagram.
Adventure guide Michela Carriere lasted 18 days on Alone. As a Cree-Métis woman, she draws on her indigenous heritage in her work with Aski Holistic Adventures, which invites “people to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with themselves, the land, and community.”
Dusty Blake’s Alone journey ended after 10 days due to serious gastric pain. These days, he shares updates on his outdoor adventures on his YouTube channel, Dusty Blake Wildman Adventures.
Peter Albano, a librarian and outdoor lover, found the Alone experience harder than he expected. He tapped out after eight days due to an emotional breakdown. But that didn’t dim his enthusiasm for getting in touch with nature. “The forest in winter is an incredibly beautiful thing,” he captioned a recent Instagram post. “Some pictures from a couple of the spots where I sat and just appreciated the trees and the snow and the silence.”
Cubby Hoover’s Alone journey ended after just four days due to a scary accident involving an arrow. In a recent Instagram post, he opened up about his time on the show and the negative comments he was once again receiving after his season landed on Netflix.
“I made a mistake. I didn’t spin it. I didn’t romanticize it. I hated the outcome. And then I did the most difficult thing a man can do. I told the truth about it and accepted the cost,” he wrote. “…I’m alive because I chose humility over image, responsibility over pride, and truth over the approval of strangers. I’m grateful for that, deeply grateful. If that unsettles you, it might be because your idea of strength depends on never admitting fault.”
