Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth fell for each other, sight unseen, in season 10 of Love Is Blind. But can their love survive the real world? After an awkward reveal and concerns about whether they’ll be able to truly merge their lives, warning signs are flashing that this reality TV pair might not make it to the altar. 

Amber and Jordan got engaged in ‘Love Is Blind ‘Season 10

Heading into the pods, Jordan, 34, made one thing clear: He wasn’t interested in dating a woman who was also a mom. But his attitude shifted after he connected with Amber, also 34, who has a seven-year-old daughter. Their shared quirkiness, interest in food, and sense of humor convinced them both they were a perfect match, leading to an engagement. 

But are Jordan and Amber really compatible? Amber’s body language during the reveal suggested she might not be attracted to her partner.

“When she’s about to hug him, Amber spreads her hands and fingers to the sides in a childlike way, like a dutiful little girl about to give her uncle a hug,”celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman said. “Not passionate or romantic at all.”

“Jordan whips the ring out, but Amber’s hand is curled inwards,” she added. “She’s not keen or attracted to him at all. … She’s trying her best to hide it, but Amber is crushed….”

Is Jordan ready to be a dad to Amber’s daughter?

Despite some tension during the reveal, Jordan and Amber were later intimate during their honeymoon in Cabo. That suggests they’ve overcome any initial reservations about the other’s appearance.

But even bigger issue awaits the couple once they return home after their Mexico trip. Jordan says he’s willing to embrace both Amber and her daughter. But the reality of being in a relationship with a mom might be more than he’s willing to take on. Is he ready for instant parenthood?

“I’ve never helped with a kid before, but just from getting to know you and hearing about her personality, it’s really put me at ease about that,” Jordan said. “Something that helps is knowing she has a strong relationship with her dad. You’ve got a good support system, and it doesn’t make me feel like there’s a mountain of pressure on me. It feels like more of a privilege that I get to do.”

If he wants his new relationship to work, Jordan will also likely need to move from his home of Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Columbus, where Amber and her daughter live. The need to relocate could put additional pressure on their still-new relationship. 

Fans will have to keep watching to find out if Amber and Jordan are able to make their romance last despite challenges. But given Love Is Blind’s recent track record, the odds aren’t good. Season 9 was the first in the show’s history with no successful marriages, while in season 8, just one couple said “I do” at the altar. In season 7, two couple made it to the altar, but one pair – Ashley and Tyler – split up not long after their season aired. 

Love Is Blind Season 10 Episodes 1-6 are streaming on Netflix. New episodes release Wednesdays through March 4.
