Paramount+ struck gold with Landman, Taylor Sheridan’s gritty tale of the rough-and-tumble Texas oil business. The Billy Bob Thornton series was an immediate hit when it premiered last November, becoming the streaming service’s most popular original of all time.

Landman Season 1 ended with Thornton’s Tommy Norris taking over as the head of M-Tex Oil and then negotiating a deal between the company and a Mexican drug cartel. But will Tommy’s big moves blow up in his face? Now, we finally know when we’ll find out what’s next for him and the rest of the show’s characters.

Landman Season 2 premieres  Sunday, November 16 on Paramount+. The streamer hasn’t revealed the episode count or full release schedule, but if it follows season 1’s pattern, episodes will drop weekly on Sundays.

In addition to Thornton, Landman’s second season will feature returning cast members Demi Moore (Cami Miller), Ali Larter (Angela Norris), Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris), Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris), Paulina Chávez (Ariana), Kayla Wallace (Rebecca Falcone), Mark Collie (Sheriff Walt Joeberg), James Jordan (Dale Bradley), and Colm Feore (Nathan). Andy Garcia, who appeared in the season 1 finale as cartel boss Galliano, will be back in season 2 as well.

Sam Elliott has also joined the Landman cast as a series regular in its second season. But one person who likely won’t be back is Jon Hamm, whose Monty Miller character suffered an apparently fatal heart attack at the end of season 1.

Landman Season 1 is streaming on Paramount+.
