Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s Clandestine Meetups Exposed
The royal family has done all it can to distance itself from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. They’ve worked to contain the scandal and vilify his actions, but it appears he is still embarrassing them. Rumors suggest the disgraced prince and his equally controversial ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have been having clandestine meetups since they moved out of their shared home in February. The non-disgraced Royals are reportedly pretty upset about it.
Sarah Ferguson and the former Prince Andrew are having clandestine meetings
Sarah Ferguson and the former prince, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, have been divorced for years, but that has done little to keep them apart. Despite a messy split, multiple scandals, and troubling connections to Jeffrey Epstein from both of them, they remain in close contact. Even after being evicted from the Royal Lodge and living separately, they have found a way to remain bonded. Apparently, the royal family is not pleased about that, and the former flames have taken to meeting in secret.
According to a source who spoke with Closer, while Ferguson and Mountbatten-Windsor haven’t been spotted in public together, she has visited him at his new home in Norfolk multiple times. Apparently, Ferguson is serving as a link to the real world for the former prince, but they are taking precautions so that she isn’t seen on the property. The insider claims Ferguson enters the estate under cover. She’s reportedly been driven onto the grounds in a cleaning van on one occasion. She entered the residence covered with a blanket in the back seat of a car on another. The meetings are reportedly so clandestine because the rest of the royal family wants Andrew and Sarah to stop drawing attention to themselves.
Is their relationship built on love or something else?
While Sarah Ferguson and her troubled ex-husband are still meeting, much to the chagrin of the rest of the royal family, it might not be because they like each other. According to Ok! Magazine, a biographer suggests the former flames are still in contact for the purpose of sheer survival. The insider alleges Ferguson might be afraid of the disgraced former prince. Still, they theorize she hangs around as he’s helped her out of jams in the past. They also argue that Mountbatten-Windsor keeps his former wife around only to help him deal with the scandals he seems to get himself into so often. The relationship is symbiotic in that way.
Tina Brown, a royal author, calls their arrangement “curious.” Despite a deep connection to the family, doesn’t seem to quite understand the draw. Brown isn’t alone in that. The rest of the world remains confused by their objective closeness despite a rather messy split and various scandals.
