Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has just been spotted for the first time since a security scare near his Norfolk home in early May.

The disgraced royal was seen in a vehicle not far from his Marsh Farm home on the king’s Sandringham estate. Andrew was driving his Land Rover on the grounds of the property and was photographed with a huge red mark on his right cheek.

Andrew hasn’t been seen publicly since May 5, when he was taking the dogs for a walk and a man the ex-prince didn’t know began shouting and running towards him. King Charles’ sibling was forced to flee the area. He hurried back to his car and drove away from the scene. Andrew had one unarmed protection officer with him at the time, who then alerted police.

Authorities confirmed that “Officers were called shortly after 7.30 pm following a report that a man was behaving in an intimidating manner in the village … The man was arrested and taken in for questioning. Alex Jenkinson, aged 39, has since been charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior to harass someone or cause alarm or distress and failing to provide a specimen of blood in custody.”

Days later, Jenkinson appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was granted conditional bail and ordered not to try to contact the former prince or go near several royal residences, including Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Windsor Castle, and Highgrove House.

As for Andrew’s battered face, there’s no word on how he got the large bruise.
